This series of books is wonderful and should be reprinted.The collaboration between Philips and Rix, produces a very smart guide with any of their titles.'Old Roses' is a wonderful guide book. It's small and thin, however each page carries useful information.Each plant mentioned is accompanied by a clear colour photograph.Deeply informative and highly useful. I highly recommend this title.

good book ideal and easy to understand

Un libriccino molto piccolo e sottile, che non riesce a comunicare il grande fascino delle rose antiche.Phillips e Rix presentano le belle fotografie di sempre, ma il libro è scarsino, mancano anche parecchie rose, ad esempio le banksiae.
