I'm using this to enable/disable my heating element for my RIMS setup with my brew operation. I have a programmable thermostat, too, but if I make a mistake, I could easily burn out the element. It's heavy duty and works as expected.

Seems to be very well made and the switch gives confidence, as a light comes on when it is on, and turns off when switched off. It is hefty, and I feel confident running 15-20 amps through it.

Exactly as advertised. This is a heavy duty switch and it glows red when powered on. I'm using it for a fairly high wattage bug zapper that doesn't have its own switch. Works great.

This was a great switch for my needs (ordinary 5-15 connection) but it allows you to do potentially unwise things, like plugging 20 amp devices (6-20P) into 15 amp circuits (5-15R), You're okay IF your device is capable of auto-sensing voltage/amperage and doing the right thing (i.e. some EVSE chargers), but you risk damaged equipment and blown breakers if you're not aware of what you're hooking up. I doubt this would ever pass UL safety testing, so just be careful out there.

Easy shut off or turn on. Avoids having to pull the plug. Well made.

Kind of expensive for what you get. But if you need, you have to pay for it. I stated in the headline is heavy duty. Very good product.

Definitely heavy duty. Will update should switch not live up to expectations. Very pleased (as of now - this is an initial review) with quality. Reasonably priced. Gotta love Prime - received in one day.

I had a patio heater that did not have a switch and plugging in and out was causing sparks. This switch has solved that. Checking the wire and switch no heat to speak of when patio heater 12 amp, is on.
