I absolutely adore this and I use it as my comforter. I love how every time I get in bed it’s nice and cool and I for one love the fabric. It is very smooth and can be slippery but I think it compliments it’s cooling properties. Yes overtime the blanket will absorb your body heat I mean it can’t stay cold forever. But then I just move it around to a cooler spot. I haven’t wash it yet and I know some other people were struggling with it not holding up well in the washer. Hopefully mine will be fine but if anything big happens I will try and update. I agree with some of the criticisms I read when contemplating purchasing this. 1 my sewn in circles on my blanket are frayed and loose too. I really think they are sooo redundant and feel the blanket would be so much better without them if they aren’t going to be sewn well. But I’m not super bothered by it because of how much I like the cooling effect. 2 if I were to order again I probably would’ve gone with the king size on my queen bed, because I like a big blanket you can really curl up in. The queen size covers the sides of my bed but is pretty short on the end. But this is personal preference and it hasn’t ruined my experience or anything. Lastly I agree with another reviewer that I think this product could benefit from a larger selection of colors, but thankfully for me the green goes well with my room. Okay! Hope this helps! :)

this blanket is heaven on earth i swear. silky on the skin, cool to the touch...i have pcos and suffer from night sweats and hot flashes and god i wish i had gotten this sooner.will say... its difficult to wash.... i have a top load washer and it doesnt seem to want to ring out all the water properly... but idk maybe my new washer is just finicky. outside of that... absolutely perfect. im wondering if it has the same cool feeling if its under a sheet.. or in a duvet cover.... i need more of these....

I have 4 different sizes for everywhere. And everyone in my family is getting for Xmas. Especially great for woman who have gone through Menopause. End for the hot people who Radiate year round. Have no idea how but it really really works. Even my dogs have them on their dog beds. Because they kept taking mine from my bed

I love this cooling blanket. It has a bit of weight to it but it's slippery so it does slide around a bit. It instantly cools you down as soon and you put it over your body. I do have to say during the night it can loose some of the coolness that keeps you comfortable. I have found if I move it just a little, the coolness returns to the blank. Moving it around a bit reactivate the cold feeling the blanket has. I have been able to sleep longer without waking up over and over to uncover because I am to hot. I found what works for me is a sheet then this blanket on top of that when its a cool night. On hot nights. I have just the blanket instead of a sheet and the blanket. I can't say enough good things about it! I am so happy I purchased this blanket.

This throw is really soft and has a decent amount of weight. It really absorbs the coolness from the air conditioning and stays cold. I am able to turn the air from 70 degrees up to 75 degrees and be very comfortable. That saves on electricity! Texas has been having record temperatures and my utilities have been ridiculously high! One person in a house and I paid $500 for electric in July. I had to make a change. This throw was amazing in helping reduce the bill. The only drawback is the size. It’s the smallest throw I own. It’s more for a child or short adult. I’m 5’7” and I barely fit under it. It covers my feet to my waist. I wish I got a bigger size. I took off one star for the size. The throw I bought from elegear was much larger and fit an adult of my size.

I really like this blanket.The only 2 down sides 1 which is just my self preference is it is very lightweight. I just always liked heavy blanketsThe material is so nice and cool to the touch.Which leads me to the 2nd downside which if you look through the negatives this one thing that a lot of the people are complaining about. It is obvious that a blanket will eventually get warm. There for this being said: The blanket does get warm, but given the type of material: Just flip it over then it will be cool again. That isn't too bad you just flip the blanket when you get warm.All and all I like this blanket.

I love this blanket. It has some weight and feels soft, and definitely is cooler than all other blankets I own. It is best used without a sheet. Adding a sheet prevents a lot of its cooling effect. BUT, my wife doesn't love it. She doesn't like the texture. It feels silky, but it isn't silk, so this blanket may not be for everyone. I still recommend it.
