It's ironic, really, that these combs that are so perfect for ratting are also the best detanglers. These are fantastic and the price for four is the best I've seen--anywhere (assuming you can even find them anywhere else; they stopped carrying these at my local Sally's and I haven't seen them at Target or Walmart, either).These combs are the best and easiest for ratting my hair. They're the best for smoothing the top layer, because they detangle so nicely. They also detangle my daughter's hair *almost* as well as her Wet Brush! (And if you are familiar with the MAGIC that is the Wet Brush  The Wet Brush Standard and Squirt Combo (Pink) , then you know I'm making some big claims here!) I actually went searching for these because my daughter dropped mine in the toilet (ewwww, I just had to mourn the loss and throw it out) and I couldn't find a new one in stores. It was after purchasing them, quite by accident, that I discovered their detangling use. You could almost use this one comb for everything. Almost. Not quite. I still need my Wet Brush.I was tempted (in an irate insistence on "principle" and "integrity") to knock these down a star for false advertising. They claimed "Mebco" on Amazon, but my combs have "diane by fromm" printed on the spine. I don't really care about the brand, but the righteous anger side of me felt compelled to point out the deceit. On further investigation (always double check before you go off on a tirade), I *think* that perhaps Mebco makes Fromm or Fromm makes Mebco; either way, I don't think this is the fraudulent double-cross some people on here are making it out to be.At any rate, the combs are GREAT quality, I got all 4 for a great price, they do what I want from them, and they are a beauty STAPLE at my house. It's another item that I love SO MUCH, I'm considering gifting them at the next available holiday--just because I want everyone I love to have one. (And since they come in a nice 4-pack, I could easily give them to several recipients.)

I used to have several of this style of comb. I love them and have been unable to find new ones to replace my old broke ones. Thank goodness I found these. I'm going to ordered another set.

I bought 2 of these 20 years ago and loved them. Sadly I lost 1 while traveling. Not wanting to be totally without, I tried to find a replacement. Thank goodness I found this. It’s EXACTLY like the one I lost. Long hair or short hair. It works perfectly and takes up very little room in a purse.

I have had a comb like this for years and looked many times to find them to have a spare. Now I do—love them with my thick hair.

Love these 3 row combs with coated tips. They're gentle on my scalp while being great at detangling and distributing hair products through my hair.
