Great for entertaining our rabbits

My bunny is still young , 4 mos, and about 5 lbs.I use everyday with a small amount of pellets and with fresh greens.My little bun loves the foraging and even when no treats will lay on it.Also, bun had accident (if you can call it that, it's a baby bunny, they pee) anywho... had to wash it, and it held up amazingly!!!We love it.

The media could not be loaded. We keep a little bowl of food and water beside her house...but she always chooses to come to her foraging mat to eat. She loves it!

The media could not be loaded. My rabbit likes to be in whatever room we are in. This mat allows me to take his food to any area (even if he’s under furniture). It satisfies his need to forage and gives him enrichment. Even if I’m not using it as his entire meal, I can just hide a few bits to distract him from chewing other items. I show the type of food I use that drops really easily into the folds of grass, as well as the treats I put in the bigger pockets. He does get mad sometimes if he knows a good treat is in the pocket but he can’t figure out how to upen it. He will then scratch and bite the mat and flip it (so I guess I can’t be mad that he’s crafty). Downsides: the little bumps on bottom side don’t really stop it from slipping on smooth floors. I wish it had a big elastic band or a pouch I could use after I load it (for transport).

Cocoa and Smudge absolutely love to forage for their treats and pellets. Gives them something to do that supports their natural instinct.

I got this for my daughter’s bunnies. (Lola and Ollie). They took to it right away! Keeps them busy with an instinctual behavior.It is so good for them in addition to their regular feedings. (She doesn’t keep it down all the time). It is an activity that takes thought. Instead of just being given their treats, they search. They “snuffle” around finding their kibble. They love it!!! Highly recommend!!
