I have glass shelves that use this type of bracket that were starting to get brittle (25 years of sun will do that). Going to my local supply area, I found that no one had a clue what i was looking for, so off to Amazon!!! I found these and ordered them. I ensured that the hole size was a 1/4 by using a 1/4 drill bit which fit easily in the hole without being loose. So, I ordered the parts.What I found was that they did not fit without a lot of force!!! While having a tight fit is all fine and dandy, this tight of a fit seems a bit excessive. I wound up putting wax on them to try and get them to fit and still had to brute force them in. Now that they are in, they certainly are not coming out anytime soon!!So, I deducted two stars since if you have to move them, you will need pliers and that will probably wind up breaking them!

Exactly what I needed

Better quality than the white plastic pegs theyre replacing. These have the shallow pins for use in cheap cupboards that you find in cheap apartments. Home depot didnt have this type, but the price per unit is much better than the shelf supports they sell.

These clear shelf pin supports were hard to find based on their size. The pin is exactly 1/4 inch by 1/4 inch. They look great and are clear in color.

I’ve been searching for shelf pins with 1/4 inch pin *length*. I have older kitchen cabinets and maybe that’s why the holes are shallower. This fits the bill!

Kinda tight fit, but gets the job done.
