I absolutely adore this journal. The cover, the paper thickness, quality and colour are fantastic. It's also quite thick, as in, has many more pages than journals of this size. I'll give it 1 star short because the strap is tarnished and it's a shame.

The media could not be loaded.  Elegant and beautiful notebookA6 dotted pages that are 120gsm so nice and thick. No impression transfer onto the page underneath when writing. The outside cover has an embossed animal in gold outline and the inside first page has an area where it can be titled or a dedication if it is given as a gift. At the back of the book there is a pocket for notes, receipts etc. The book itself has a silk page saver, an elastic pen/pencil holder at the page edge and an elastic closure strip.The only minus is that for the cost of the item I would have expected it to come with a pencil or pen in the holder.

This A6 notebook would be an excellent gift because it arrives in a beautiful presentation box, which lets you know instantly that there is something very special inside. The box is quite plain, but it exudes quality.Inside the box you will find a PU leather notebook and a coordinating velvet pink-lined storage pouch.The notebook cover is beautifully finished with colour coordinated stitching around the edge. The flamingo image has a geometric design which is plain but stunning and matches perfectly with the quality finish of the rest of the notebook.I opted for the lined version and although the 7mm space between the lines is quite big, there is ample space for writing a page-a-day journal.The silk ribbon bookmark is a nice addition as is the pink elastic band for holding your pages together. The pen holder attached to the edge of the notebook is handy, although it would have been nice to have a pen included as well.I am obsessed with notebooks and had to have this one as soon as I saw it. I thought it was quite expensive but now I have it in my hands I can see that it is a really top quality notebook, which is almost too good to use!I managed to find a pen that coordinates perfectly with this notebook, but I feel that one should really have been included to make this the full package. I think you would need to purchase a pen if you are planning to present this boxed notebook as a gift.

The pages of the notebook are quite thick and pens dont seep through it. The outside is very nice and simple and the rose gold flamingo is a nice touch. This notbook is a good size and is easy to sketch on.

This is a really good notebook for the price. The paper is of good quality and is thick enough so that you can write on both sides. It’s also small enough that it’s easy to carry around.There’s only one thing I don’t like about it - the lines are too narrow and I find it too difficult to write in it. This is my own fault though - I should have checked before I bought it.I would recommend this notebook to anyone who is looking for one that is cheap and of good quality.

This is high quality notebook. It comes inside a box, within which is the notebook and a colour-matched velvet bag. The paper in the notepad is thick (120 gsm) and there’s a decent amount of pages inside (200 of them). There’s a colour-matched piece of elastic around it vertically, as in a journalist’s notepad, to keep it closed when not in use. Finally, there’s a small loop for storing a pen in.It looks and feels superb. It would make a lovely gift, considering the way it is presented.

I thought that this notebook would be ideal for my wife as a replacement for all the post-it notes and annoying bits of scrap paper that she tends to strew around the house. What could be better than a neat pink leather effect note book with smooth high quality plain cream pages, rounded corners, a ribbon bookmark, a pink elastic cover retainer, an inside pouch, an elasticated pen holder, all topped off with a tasteful gold flamingo design on the front? It could have been designed especially for her!Removing the attractive pink velvet pouch from the box and then revealing the very attractive notebook my wife's first comment was that it was "much too nice to write in". I think that this comment just sums it up nicely, as it's clear that this little notebook has already become a treasured item that will be used for important jottings.We are very pleased with this notebook and equally impressed with the beautiful packaging that it comes boxed in and it is even presented in it’s own pink velvet bag. This would make an excellent and special gift. We did feel that it was a pity that the book did not include it’s own pen (as there's an elastic pen holder built onto the side of the item, and I am now on the hunt for a small biro in the perfect shade of pink or gold.There is no doubt that this notebook has a real feel of quality about it and at a price of just under £13 it represents pretty good value. I am making a note that this easily deserves 5 stars.
