Good value, does what it's meant to do.
Good value, does what it's meant to do. This item is a very simple design, but it functions very well also. The handle is very light and easy to manage, although the rubber grip material is fairly basic. The storage compartment is a nice touch, although i don't know what you could really fit in there. I did like the standard size stud on the handle, as i put a few of my different go-pro mounts on to it with no issues. the bonus thumb screw attachment works well, and does indeed make for faster swaps. Overall, you really can't beat this for under $10.. I don't plan to use it in water, I will just use as a handle to avoid all the mic noise issues with my GoPro Hero 5.No complaints..

Product functions exactly as stated. I had my GoPro Hero5 Black mounted via the Super Suit dive housing and went scuba diving to a depth of 75ft. Unbeknownst to me, the clip (separate purchase, not one supplied) that attached it to my buoyancy vest somehow detached. When I went to reach for it it was gone. I thought I had lost my GoPro for good!. When I surfaced and climbed back on the dive boat, one of dive assistants had spotted it floating on the ocean, dove in and retrieved it. Completely intact and working!

I haven't actually used this yet.
I purchased this float to video underwater without being right on top of the subject. It's easy to open for storing small items and has a textured grip so it's easy to hang on to. You can use the regular 1/4" screw or use the go pro compatible mount. 👍👍

Screw is too long
Seems solid and durable - however the screw is about 1/4" too long. Tried it on multiple mounts and cameras. I'll have to cut the screw in order to allow mounts to seat properly.

Detachable end piece is a big plus !
The 'Gopro' hinge is actually detachable and underneath is a standard screw compatible with all types of cameras. This is a big advantage as you can mount anything, not just gopro style cameras. I used it with Olympus TG type camera as well as others.

I did a lot of searching when looking for something to put my GoPro on and take it on an island vacation! this one was absolutely great! used it in water multiple times and it floats and never got water inside of it! the strap if very nice quality too!!!

Worked PERFECTLY
This was an excellent addition for my GoPro. We used this while snorkeling in the Bahamas and it was great for peace of mind and held the GoPro no problem. The watertight compartment in the bottom was a great feature as well. Overall very pleased

After using a gopro for 4-5 months I have decided I can't stand it.. But when I was in Maui this was best accessory I used when I was in the pool or the ocean
