What can I say...you get what you pay for.Luckily, I did not post a review right away as the "leather" has started deteriorating. Basically, the front area where you pull on when shifting into Drive is peeling and crumbling all over the place (I will post pics later). I found this out when I rubbed my eye and a bunch of "leather" particles from the shifter were shoved in there too!Initially, I thought this was a good shift knob, with small imperfections (in the plastic) that I didn't mind. I mean, this lasted almost a year, so not bad, right? My stock Toyota one (clunky one - you know if you have a 2010-2013 4runner) is still as new. The TRD/Limited knob from Toyota will cost you over $100.00, so you decide. One-time purchase? Or keep buying a replacement every 10-12 months...?

The knob looks gorgeous. The chrome is shinier than the original Tundra Platinum silver, and I really liked the color. I was so excited when I examined the knob. The problem with this knob, however, is that it did not tighten well. Driving Tundra with a loose knob is dangerous, and this knob is useless even though it looks gorgeous. I was deeply disappointed as I cannot use this gorgeous knob.
