Solid battery life in old laptop!
It’s been a month since I received the 9-cell 90Whr battery. I have a Dell E6410 with Ubuntu 18.04 as OS. Since the CPU is a 35 watt, the battery runs for about 6 hours. That includes a full movie of at least 2 hours and light work such as browsing internet and doing Microsoft Word tasks.I can imagine that with a newer 15 watt CPU the battery would last some 1.5 to 2 hours extra.

Battery stopped taking a charge after about 8 months. Now what? Not a happy customer here!!!I rarely take this laptop with me...it's heavy and it's old, therefore it stays home and charged. Today was different...I took it with me with the intentions of getting extra work done in the field. Surprise....the battery failed to hold a charge...no power as in DEAD!!! Thankfully I had a charger with me and was able to get my work done.Bottom line...should have realized the price reflected the value of this battery. Keep the money as it was the price of a valuable lesson...YOU SELL JUNK!!! Never again!!

The BIOS said the battery was fine, but the battery light was flashing orange / ...
It wouldn't charge right off the bat for some reason. I ended up having to run the old battery all the way down, then restart the laptop on the new battery - without the charger attached. And THEN plug in the charger. The BIOS said the battery was fine, but the battery light was flashing orange / blue constantly. It might be because I swapped from a 6 cell to a 9 cell battery but that doesn't make much sense. It's odd, but works now - I got about 4 hours on my first test.

Budget Big Battery Buy Buy Buy!
Bigger than standard, computer doesn’t show that it’s 30% larger, but it last >3 hr when standard lasts 2hr, so that’s all good.I made mistake of setting Dell bios to ‘express charge’ battery, just made it run hot and unreliable, fine once reset to standard charge in bios ( bios warned it might not work)Seller promptly returned email, restated that is warranted and could be returned if not happy.I’m very happy and would order again when need to.
