Waterproof - lookin' good so far!
As a homeowner with 6" treated pine deck(s), I have tried it all thru the years. They all look great for a year. Even the ones that said it would not peel on horizontal surfaces and was for fences and decks. That was completely false - they peeled and made our deck look awful. Anyway, it remains to be seen if this product will hold up well. It is thin, of course, it is stain with waterproofing and I believe some UV protection. The color we used is Cedartone. It is a bit darker than I was expecting, I guess from the UV stuff. It has an incredibly strong odor that was noticeable outside around the other side of the house for days. I could not leave the door from the house to the deck open since the smell would come in. We had 70 degree days and cool nights, and the deck did not get much sunlight. It was at least seven days for most of the odor to dissipate. I used the wet on wet method recommended in the instructions - put down the first coat, wait 15 minutes or so, then go with the next coat. Just for being able to reach, I did 2 - 3 ft areas all across the deck, and I was then able to put down the second coat. On one deck, I was able to go the whole length staining 3 boards at a time. Poured a small amount at a time into a paint pan. Used a Pro Stainer 9 in pad. It has a longer handle if you want. It had thin, tough edges to get in-between the boards to minimize the drips. great product for this. I also used knee pads, super old jeans because you can't help but get some on your clothes. rubber garden shoes and two layers of gloves. This does not dry like paint. I suppose it 'cures'. It remained sticky or 'not-cured' for 4 days or so. We had leaves coming down. Some of the smaller ones began to stick. We blew off most of them, but I had to get onto the deck to sweep them off. That sweeping actually helped the drying process. Since it is oil based, it was slick to walk on - had to be careful. So, that's all I know for now. It has rained - The overall finished look is awesome. Oh, I used 2 gallons for a 16 x 20 and a 5 x 16.

Good stuff!
Haven't used it yet personally but know someone that suggested it to me. They have been using it on their log home for years and it holds up great! I'm sure it'll be perfect for my project as well!

Best deck stain I’ve found
TWP 1500 is what I’ve used for years on our cedar deck. It applies easily and once it’s dry, water will bead up for nearly two years. It is not a surface stain. It will soak into the wood and keep its appearance and not peel.

Looks Great!
The product was absorbed very easily by the wood and was easy to work with. I used a Wagner sprayer and applied two coats after thoroughly prepping the wood by washing and sanding. The worst part was that the product arrived with a damaged lid and hanger. It was damaged enough that product leaked out into the box and who knows where else.

Excellent Stain/Wood Preservative
I needed to apply a stain/wood preservative to a new 25 foot, 6.5 tall wood fence that I had a carpenter build at the side of my residence. It replaced a damaged fence struck by a fallen tree during a wind storm. This product was new to me. I applied the product with a brush. The TWP wood preservative was smooth to apply and resulted in a pleasing chestnut color stain. I applied two coats to the fence. The preservative dried quickly and resulted in a pleasing appearance. I would use this product again.

Goes on great. Works great on repelling water but scratches easy
It works great for water resistance and goes on smoothly and evenly. Definitely follow directions regarding application bc you can put too much on. The only issue we found is that even after 2 days of dry time before walking on the dogs will scratch it off just by walking on it. So it probably will need a touch up yearly. But we have 5 dogs may not be an issue with one dog.
