Tuff DuckGranite, Grout and Marble Sealer 1 Gallon Stone Tile

I used this product on a marble table I purchased from restoration hardware. We very seldom use the table because it is in our dining room and we don't often have enough people to dine there. I started noticing that when we did eat there the wet rings left on the table from cold drinks did not fade from the marble so I did some research and found a great home video on sealing a marble table using Tuff Duck sealer so I purchased it. I also bought sponges and soft clothes from the dollar store and went to work in my table. It took a couple of hours to complete the work because I applied two coats but when I put water on it the next day it beaded right up. I am so excited to use this table for Easter and not have to worry about water stains, I'm sad I can only rate this product 5 stars, I'd give it more.

The price is absurd, but comparable to competing products.This product appears to be similar to ScotchGuard - a hydrophobic and oleophobic fluorocarbon coating.It certainly appears to work -- our totally tile Roman shower now beads water like a freshly waxed car. The remaining film does not appear to make walking on wet tile any more treacherous than untreated tile.I can see all sorts of possible uses for this product, but at $124/gallon it is too expensive for many of them.It is possible (but arduous) to apply the product selectively to just grout lines. Overspray leaves very little visible indication on non-glossy tile.

This is so easy to apply and a little goes a long way. We sealed the grout on 3 showers and used less than half the jug. As we shower, you can tell that the grout is not even getting wet as there is no color change and the water beads up and rolls off. Wonderful product. Glad I did research and read reviews as the grout sealer in our last house made very little to no visible difference and this works like a charm.

Tuff Duck Granite dealer works great. I'd had some health issues so I hadn't sealed my grout in about 3 years. The first coat just went right into the Granite as quick as I could apply it. I gave it a second coat and water and liquids just bead up on the top of the Granite instead of soaking in!

Tuff duck was very easy to apply and washing off using a form brush. Be sure during and after applying that the areas that it is well open or have an exhaust fan like the instruction says. After 2 weeks, applying 2 coats in the shower the grout still looks new.
