Bought these for my tortoise so his lamps would be on and off at the same time every day. Super easy to set up and use and makes it so much easier. Actually bought another set to have for other lights in the house.

I originally got this product from a Walgreens store, however it was one plug and it was $20. That is the only place locally that I could find them but I really like this smart plug. When I came across this set of four for the same price I was simply amazed. You can't beat a 75% off savings basically. These plugs are responsive and the app works great. Not only do I have these plugs but I have a light bulb that works with the same app and is very interactive. I can't recommend this smart plug enough.

Somewhat tricky to program. Subroutines within the on cycles can turn the plug on and off to give, I suppose, a “lived-in” look but setting these can be complicated. Overall, though, a very nice and dependable way of automating lighting.

I am absolutely impressed by these smart plugs! Super easy to install and operate, much better than Atomy, Wemo, or Luminous I used to have. I love that I can schedule my lights to be on/off or turn them in cycles! And they are not as bulky as previous brands I mentioned. Hopefully they will last; and I do like the App that goes with plugs.

These have worked perfectly to automate our Christmas lights all season. So glad we found these.

I have these set of for lights around my house and it is pretty much set-it-and-forget-it, but if you need to turn off a switch, it's a quick opening of your app and tapping the right one. (I had a Globe light before this and quite liked it, though after about 5 years the leds are dying). Great for general lights but also indoor display case lights or accent lights.

I had a few problems getting the system set up; it turns out that my phone's Bluetooth had disallowed the discovery of nearby objects, and it took me a while to discover this. But once I got past that hurdle - and got discovery happening within the two minutes allowed for pairing the plug - and dug out my password for my wifi, and got that entered within the two minute window... well, I eventually got there. The plug now works reliably. I can say, "Alexa, turn on Living Room 1" and Alexa will send the appropriate signal to turn on the appropriate plug, which i have connected to a floor lamp in the corner. I chose to call it Living Room 1, but I could have called it anything I chose.It's important to remember that this device will allow you to turn on or off power to the plug remotely, and that's it. If you connect something that requires a constant power connection, such as a home audio system, the effect will be the same as if that device had experienced a power outage. Often, user programmable items such as favourite stations or audio profiles may be erased. So, don't expect to control sophisticated home electronics with this device; it is best suited to simple devices, such as lamps and kettles.But it works well with Alexa, and it is one of the most budget minded programmable, Alexa optimized plugs out there. Recommended.

Love the product got about 14 of them the house they’re very easy to set up and you can set. Just a great product having not to rewire the house to get it on smart app.

I recently invested in a set of Globe Electric Wi-Fi Smart Plugs. They've been put to the test over the past week, and the verdict is out - they perform admirably, though the initial set-up process was more complicated than anticipated.Firstly, let's talk about the set-up process. It's important to note that the conventional methods outlined in the product manual did not work for me. Both the fast blink "EZ Pair" mode and the slow blink AP mode, where I was supposed to connect directly to the smart plug, failed to yield successful results.However, a bit of perseverance got me through. After resetting the plugs by holding down the power button (this was necessary for all four of them), they did eventually appear in the Bluetooth auto discovery feature of the app, much to my relief.The plugs operate on a 2.4 GHz frequency. An interesting point to note is that the app seems to insist that the phone be connected to a similar 2.4 GHz network for the set-up process. I faced some challenges when my 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks had the same SSID. This peculiarity finally compelled me to segregate my home WiFi into a dedicated 2.4 GHz IoT network. While other smart plugs on the market can work around the SSID issue, this was a hurdle for the Globe Electric plugs.Having moved past the setup hurdles, I've been very pleased with the plugs' day-to-day functionality. They are responsive, reliable, and have successfully integrated into my growing IoT network. In fact, these plugs are the 14th through 17th devices I've added to my 2.4 GHz network. Despite the significant amount of traffic on my home network, they've held their ground remarkably well, proving their mettle in a crowded airwave space.In summary, while the initial setup process could have been smoother, I'm happy to report that the Globe Electric Wi-Fi Smart Plugs have delivered commendable performance since then. They're now a valuable part of my connected home ecosystem, and I'm looking forward to seeing how they perform in the long run.
