EnzymedicaImmune Defense, Regular Strength, Proteolytic Enzymes for Immune Support, 120 Count

A friend told me about this wonder supplement and it really works! We use it whenever we start to feel sick or just as "insurance" when there is a bug going around the area, and it has been very effective at keeping us healthy. I just wish they made a kid version that was easier for younger kids (who can't swallow pills) because it works on the rest of us so well.Update 2/1/15: Enzymedica has changed the name of Virastop to Enzyme Defense and eliminated the Nattokinase. Nattokinase is an enzyme derived from fermented soybean, so it may have been removed for those sensitive to soy products, but I am disappointed it was removed because it is so beneficial to those of us with digestive difficulties. I'm not removing any stars yet, though, because I would prefer to wait and see if it is still effective without the nattokinase.

I tried Virastop beause I was prone to getting long term Bronchitis after a cold. It worked and I have been Bronhitis free since then. I take it at the first sign of a cold or when others in my family are contagious as a preventative. I have been using it for several years with good results. I am prone to migraines due to various food/chemical triggers and taking Virastop has lessened the intensity, duration and frequency, an added bonus that I discovered by accident. I don't know why but the enzymes must be breaking down something that is bothering me, lessening the impact. One of the ingredients is anti-inflammatory so that could be helping as well.

I picked up the flu from a friend of mine. Her flu lasted 2 weeks. Mine only lasted 3-4 days and my symptoms were much milder. Maybe my immune system is better, but I believe that had I not been taking the Virastop, I would have been much sicker and for much longer. I won't be without these!

I contacted the seller to confirm that I would receive the product as shown "Vira Stop". They said I would receive Vira Stop as shown. When I received the order, it was not Vira Stop, it was the product Enzymedica has substituted for Vira Sop called Enzyme Defense. This is a different formulation and does not include the nattokinase. I do not know whether this will work as well as the original formula, which worked wonderfully. Be aware that they are showing Vira Stop but substituting the new formula. Since I have another brand of nattokinase, I will add that when taking Vira Stop, but wish the company had not tampered with the formula and that the seller was showing the correct product.

37 M. 2 weeks ago, I was taking some strong antibiotics for my sinusitis to go to surgery. This antibiotic caused my right knee to swell, and then I could no longer walk on it. The blood flow was low to the leg causing cramping, stiffness. I stopped the antibiotics as it seemed to aggravate the knee condition and it swelled twice the normal size.My blood flow to my legs was not great before, after the antibiotics, it was very bad. I could only have my leg pointing right, otherwise it was always tight, tingly and at stuck at a 45 degree angle.What led me to this product was a Dr pointed me to a review of medical journal and report of people using it for medically confirmed virus infections at therapeutic levels. 4-6 caps 3 times daily. Google this; "Effect of Enzymes on Viruses: Results of Two Informal Study Trials"After two weeks and taking several higher doses daily. The swelling of the right leg is decreased, blood flow feels normal now with no tingling, I can sleep with my leg pillow again. Evidently this product is anti-inflammatory and promotes faster healing due to the enzymes inside.The real purposes for my taking this product is not my leg. I had a flu shot several years ago, pain has lingered in my colon on both sides since, and my sinusitis is going to require more surgery to correct if it continues to be a problem.I have noticed my sinus has cleared up a little bit taking virastop. Antibiotics have become somewhat ineffective for my sinus, I'm hoping this product will help resolve that issue so I won't need surgery. Some of the enzymes do target the lungs and sinus's.I'll update this review if asked.

I'm no scientist, but whenever I take Virastop at the first sign of a cold, it kills it dead. I've been working with an office full of people sick as a dog for 3 weeks, in the line of fire 8 hours a day, and Virastop has kept it at bay, only real symptom some loss of energy. I take 2 tablets 4 times a day and with most colds I stop feeling any symptoms by the second day. Bottom line, if you never want to have a cold again, get Virastop!
