This should've gotten a five-star review. All the classic sound is there...pure John Lee. The deduction of the two stars is due to the mislabeled track listing. The tracks fell into three categories: 1) the track on the sleeve/label is what you were hearing...2) the track wasn't where it was listed...3) a totally different track from any listed on the sleeve/label.That being said...if your vinyl copy is similar or identical, just do your research (something like Shazam at least), jot down the proper listing and pop it inside the sleeve. Still great stuff...just make sure you know the names.

Great music...bad pressings...cheap cover. Paper thin cover, record does not stay in the cover very well. The pressing jumps and skips and then goes to the center and tears up needle. But John Lee Hooker is unreal.

Definitely some sort of strange bootleg. The songs listed on the jacket are not the same songs on the actual vinyl . Plus the order of the songs is all mixed up as well. Quality varies from song to song depending on who did the recording. Sorta disappointing....

This is a good album. This was shipped in a plastic bag. Came with corners folded in and bent. They album itself was fine.

Great quality recording on vinyl no surface noice at all! Not really sure what other reviewer is talking about track listing being wrong,It’s exactly as it says on the reverse of album cover!

Classic Hooker.I'm more familiar with love recordings from the late 80's but this is how it was done back in the day. Some lesser known tracks on here too.

Good quality recordings, as far back as 1941 ! Great collection of gritty Blues tracks from one of the masters. Puts a smile on my face no matter how Im feeling. Best £10 Ive spent this year !

Vinyl sounds great and at £12 is a steal.Only problem is the track listing advertised here, on the vinyl and on the sleeve is way off. There's only one song that's listed correctly, the first one.I've attached the actual track listing.Still worth the purchase, it's John Lee Hooker baby!!!
