Great Chef Knife
I bought a similar knife to this in Japan and since I have a good Chicago Cutlery chef knife that I have had for over 40 years, the one I got in Japan went to my travel trailer. I use using it again recently and have been looking for one to put in my main kitchen. After seeing overpriced models at cooking stores I decided to look on Amazon, and decided to try this one as the description is good and it is reasonably priced. I have only use it a couple of times so far, the key disadvantage to Amazon wanting reviews before you even get the product, but it appears to be a really good knife. Time will tell how it holds an edge, but the weight, balance, and quality all seem top notch; up to that of those $200 and $300 knives I saw in cooking stores. If you are looking for a Santoku Knife, this should be high on your list.

Dura Living Knive Set
These knives are very versatile and hold their sharpness for a long time. I now have 8 of them in my butcher block and use them in preparation of almost every meal. Highly recommend.

Very nice chef's knife!
This thing is a beast. It's VERY sturdy and I really like it compared to many knives I thought were good in the past. This Dura Living knife blows then away! I've tried ceramic, stainless steel Lately I've liked ceramic but this thing is unbelievable. Only thing is it is a bit heavy but since I've never really used Wüsthof or any of the more expensive ones I've seen listed here that seem to be comparable don't know if that's a bad thing. Rating it 4 stars until I know how it holds up but for the 4 days or so I've used it I can say it's worth the money for sure

Nice knives
These knives are well manufactured and hold a sharp edge. Somewhat larger then exspected but will work.

Best value cutlery ever!
I've been a diehard Wusthoff fan for years, but my friend recently raved about her new Dura Living Chef's Knife so I had to try it! Aesthetically, the knives are nearly indistinguishable- triple rivet, sleek black handle, forged stainless- beautiful! Functionally, I may actually prefer Dura Living. It's slightly lighter, with an exaggerated curve in the handle... which allows it to sit more comfortably in my hand. I've used it twice so far and was able to chop more quickly. I can't vouch for the longevity of the knife, but for 20% of the cost I could replace this knife five times over if I had to (which, I couldn't imagine being the case as this knife is sturdy and clearly finely constructed). This knife is an incredible value- highly, highly recommend!
