I really didn't want to spend the Roomba prices for a new filter that would need to be changed quite frequently so I gave this a shot. The value of what you get for your money when compared to the genuine replacement is crazy good. They fit well.I have noticed there are some performance issues which may result in needing to change the filter more frequently. These filters have a very fine mesh ontop of the filter itself. This mesh quickly clogs up with fine dust and then the suction on the machine isn't great. I have had multiple times where the suction seems to be so poor it gets clogged in the rubber rollers and doesn't make it to the bin. I think this just means I need to change the filter substantially more often.When you compare how often this will need to be changed vs. the fact that I ran my Roomba filter FOREVER.... It might equal about the same amount in the end.I haven't tried removing the fine mesh filter, perhaps it would extend the life and increase suction. If I attempt it I will update here.

Bought for my Roomba 880. They are a little denser than the ones that came from the factory with a little extra filter fabric on the bottom. That should help keep it from plugging, I think?I found that they are just slightly thicker than the old ones, and the lid doesn't close tight unless I really push it down. Not a big deal as that seals up the edges nicely.The cleaning brush is a nice touch.

The HEPA filter fit in my Roomba 980 no problem, they have the same dimensions as the default Roomba filter, except the cloth yellow pull tab is a bit longer, maybe by 1-2cm(~1/2 inch) and the added screen mesh they provided was a pleasant surprise for the low price. The Roomba's standard filter doesn't have the mesh screen on the intake end so it collects a lot more physical debris in the grove of the actual filter than this product. So overall this is both cheaper and more effected than the default choice.PS. The little brush they give you is actually really sturdy and solid.

I am not a vacuum specialist and I cannot tell the difference between this third party replacement and the iRobot original ones. I see dust being trapped on the filter and I don't see any dust shooting from the robot, I am guessing it is working. The brush has roughly the same life span compared to the originals.

Quality matches or is even better than the original filter. Fits our 980 and seems to filter more. Microfibre prefilter catches smaller particles, so I'm inclined to do a more thorough clean when emptying the bin as the filter has more debris sticking to it. I swap out filters on a regular basis and give them a once over with compressed air, so having to deal with the finer debris is not an issue for me.
