usable for snorkeling, unlikely to work for diving. android phone issues.
the biggest challenge is that the case does not allow access to power button, only the shutter (volume) button. this means the camera app has to stay on the whole time. aside from draining battery, it may work ok with iphone. on android phones, the camera app exits after 2 minutes of inactivity. if you had access to the power button, you could double click to relaunch it. but you can't. and there is no setting that will prevent the app from exiting.there are some solutions: one is to get a non-standard camera app that doesn't exit. the other is to use an auto-clicker app to 'click' the middle of the screen every 100 seconds or so. neither is great, but can be made to work.the other challenge is that not only does the touch screen not work underwater, but the water pressure can result in 'false presses' that end up changing camera modes or exit the camera app.if you are near the surface and either wearing fins or it's shallow enough to stand, just lift the case out of water and use the touch screen to correct the situation. as long as you're in calm water it's not a problem.obviously that is not an option if you're diving.my experience is limited to samsung galaxy S22, so maybe with other phones it's different. also, i had to trim the button pushing tab a bit but that was easy.all that said i got some really cool pix with my phone snorkeling in hawaii, so it did what i wanted it to do. i was in calm shallow water and was able to stand up and get the phone back into camera mode when it jumped out, which happened couple dozen times in a half hour swim.it is not a seamless experience by any means, but it got me the pix i wanted which is what really matters.

Using enclosure with Moto G Stylus 2022
I'm impressed with this case. I have a Motorola Moto G Stylus 2022 model which fits just perfectly. Screen sensitivity what I would expect. Camera button outside of case, works great. I'm really pleased with this and will use it while kayaking and scuba. Mainly wanted this to protect my phone if it drops in the water, as the case floats and will keep the phone dry. Recommend it.Update: After enclosing my phone in the case, I did take it to a lake and dropped it in the water. The case did not float. That was unexpected. I will have to review the description of the case but I got the impression it would float with the phone enclosed. Be aware of this.

Worked great
Bought this for snorkeling around St. Lucia, it did not disappoint. It was easy to use and set up also easy to use underwater for taking pictures with the handy push button as well as being able to change between pictures and video while still underwater

Awesome product
My boyfriend couldn’t stop raving about this case that I bought him for our vacation to Mexico! He loves it and used every day. Not one leak or problem with the phone. The case is very durable. Highly recommend this phone case for under water!

Arrived broken
The case arrived with the fingerprint sensor membrane broken then water is going inside of the case. This membrane is very thin then it is very easy to be broken. In this case what happened was the glue joining the membrane to the case fail, then the membrane is lost at the upper side of the case.

Not that great overall.
Purchased to use during snorkeling trip to Florida. Technically it should work as intended but I really don’t trust it with my phone that costs over $1000 really and not going to take the risk. I’ve had much sturdier and better closing waterproof cases that were metal and tempered glass. This is made out of plastic and has thin plastic sheets to cover your screen. It also closes with clamps vs screws like many waterproof cases do these days. Honestly, when they can’t even include a strap that is useable with it I’m not thinking they wouldn’t be similarly cheap on everything else. It is a good idea and concept, but for the price it could be so much better. The mechanism for the shutter button is not looking like it would last all that long, again it’s just thin plastic. All that said, iPhone 13 pro max does fit so I’d guess most any phone would as well. It appears as though it should work as intended, but I’d only really be comfortable if I had a cheap android phone that was under $100. It comes with a strap but there wasn’t any getting it in the thing without messing it up. Strap is cheap parachute cord 550 most likely. While trying to put in on the inner white threads were pinched through the outside and it wasn’t fixable. Problem is that it’s too wide of cord for the hole in the thing for it. Had to remove the little ball trying to correct the issue and that was the end of that, it wasn’t going to thread through again regardless what I tried. It also is less than ideal for material to make a strap that would be going underwater. There are way better options as far as that goes.So my overall opinion is not great. To try and use it I would need to find some kind of strap that would work better and I simply lack the time for that. I expect things I buy to be useable as sold and this is questionable. As time goes on Amazon seems to be getting less and less reliable and you never quite know what you will get, but that’s a different story really for another time.I’d probably skip this and look at other options that there are as there are much better and sturdier options out there at the same price point.

Somewhat disappointing
I had high hopes for this case, however, I don’t like it and didn’t get it sent back in the return window frame (I was a day late when I went to try!!).It does keep phone dry, yay! It’s just bulky & it took some doing to get my iPhone (12 Pro Max) to stay where the button would work. I don’t dive with it, I paddle board with it, the cord is very useful for this.m as I can clip it to the bungee on my iSUP. The window for the camera lens seems to make the pictures funny looking. I don’t know how they would look underwater, probably ok.After almost 2 months use, the clips are r seeming to close all the way. It does hook, so it will stay closed, but I wouldn’t be able to use underwater at this point because of that. I am not sure if they are like this from salt water or if it’s from sand, but it’s disappointing because it’s a fairly expensive case, for a non daily user.If I could return this, I would.
