After much product review, I’m very happy with my choice.
Excellent fit. Very comfortable and easy in and out especially with 2 sizes. Great wind noise reduction, good voice and OK music with packtalk. Easy to wash.Very happy with product after much shopping. This is addendum to this review.:I have now had these about 2 months and have used them a lot. They are holding up very well. Go in and out easily and really Work! Very happy. Have made a big difference in my riding experience. Much more pleasant, and much less fatigue. Especially at hi-way speeds.

Initial indications are good
Today, I took a 2 hour spin on my motorcycle to test out these Pinlocks. I have a Honda ST1300 with a Shoei GT Air helmet. The combo is pretty good for wind protection and noise. I was very happy with the Pinlocks. The noise reduction seemed quite good to me. I turned on the FM radio on my Sena, and I could clearly hear it. My go-to ear plugs have been foam types for effectiveness and comfort. The Pinlock plugs seem to be working every bit as well and I think better than the foam ones, both in terms of effectiveness and comfort. I have to jam the foam ones in my ears and it's difficult to always get them in so that I get adequate noise reduction. Getting them in is always an ordeal. Over the course of a day ride, the foam plugs make my ears a little sore. With all else being equal, I would prefer the Pinlocks over foams because they are must easier to insert. The real test would be a multi-day ride, but after two hours, they still felt great. I think I can say with confidence that I could wear them all day.If your motorcycle creates wind buffeting noise, as my Honda Africa Twin does, you will probably hear some low frequency rumbling. Virtual elimination of that noise would be the holy grail of ear plugs. If the Pinlocks did that, I would rate them 5 stars instead of 4. Still, they probably attenuate that noise as well as anything else I've tried.I first tried on the Pinlocks while sitting in my living room. I was a bit concerned about how difficult they were to get back out, but I found that they were much easier to remove if they've been in for a while. Like other reviewers have mentioned, the little tabs are not very effective, but you might find an orientation that allows you to access them more easily. At any rate, I don't find removal to be an issue after wearing them for a longer period of time.Update: I just wore them for nine hours straight. The right ear felt fine but the left ear was a little sore. On my next long ride, I'll try not to jam them in quite so far. That might help. Well into the ride, I made a stop and pushed them in further, and I think I was a bit too aggressive with it. For any ear plug, I would expect that your individual ear anatomy will affect your results. But one thing I definitely noticed was how much better I could hear my FM audio with the ear plugs inserted. I went out for a relatively short ride a few weeks ago to test out a little bit of work I did on the bike, and without wearing any plugs, the FM audio was not clear at all. With these Pinlocks inserted, the audio is much clearer. These are the best plugs I've found so far.

Did not work for me
The product is neatly packaged, comes with 4 actual plugs (2 sets in 2 different sizes), and seems to be made of quality materials. The noise cancellation does not work for me at all. I use the plugs when riding my adventure motorcycle. I have an adventure helmet with a peak, so it gets pretty noisy. The helmet itself is good quality and about as good as adventure helmets get regarding wind noise reduction.I usually use the normal pink/yellow foam plugs you can by at the drug store or Lowes/HD etc. These are very good at blocking noise, but can hurt after several hours in the ear. Which is why I got the Pinlocks. The Pinlocks go in easy and are very comfortable, even after several hours. However, they did not seem to block much of the wind noise for me at all. Maybe, maybe, a 5-10% wind noise reduction. The cheapo foam plugs get probably a 25-30 reduction for me.I would like these plugs to have worked for me, but they simply do not.YMMV.

Perfect for motorcycle riders
I purchased this earplug set for my boyfriend because he needed something to reduce wind sound as he was riding his motorcycle, and these work great! My boyfriend said these are comfortable and make riding more enjoyable because the wind is not as loud. For the price, these are a great purchase!

They work but pricey
Purchased for my son to use on his motorcycle. He said they work well against wind noise. Nice packaging. Not We'll see how they hold up compared to my disposable earplugs.

Great for moto riding for average to small ear canal
I use these for motorcycle riding and they are almost perfect. The only reason I did not give them five stars is that they are ever so slightly too small, even with the included larger size option. I wish there was a slightly larger option too. I've had other stereo earbuds and ear plugs that come with smal,l medium, and large options, and I normally use the medium just perfectly, so I assume my ear canal is average sized. With these, though, I can get the larger option to sit in my ear fine , but I do have to work it in there a bit as it seems a wee small. Once it's set though, it stays perfectly seated and reduces the wind noise to a very comfortable level. I can also use my communication headset and hear it perfectly with them in. They are comfortable for all day riding and I don't even notice they are there. While they don't have the greater noise reduction of other plugs, they reduce the wind noise enough so that it does not bother me at all anymore and I can still hear my surroundings. I definitely notice when I forget to put them in and the wind noise is quite uncomfortable. I like the pull tabs on these as well, which make it much easier to remove. I've used other ones with smaller tabs and they are troublesome to get out

So small as to be useless.
If you complain that eat plugs are too large for you, then these might be right for you. These are so small that they just fall out if I shake my head, and that is after pushing them in so far I can't get them out with my fingers. They do provide multiple sizes - small, and smaller. With the huge and useless case, they have space they could have provided some useful sizes, but that would have gotten in the way of the marketing material that appears to be the real reason for providing a case with such a strange shape.Noise reduction : 0 decibels
