Works Great! Get two if walking more that a 25 foot distance. One will stay lit until the next one turns on/picks up your motion. First night we had to manually press the button on but it worked like automatically like clockwork when it gets dark ever since. The light it gives is nice and bright. Make sure you let it sit in the sun for the day before installing and you should be good to go. I bought one to try and bought another right away.

This light is great, I've already bought four of them and my neighbor just got a couple also. Very easy to install, perfect for entry way in the front and/or back of your home or business.

The media could not be loaded.  I bought 2 of these units, one for my trash can/storage shed area and one for the kids' play set. The motion-detection works really well up to a range of 20-30 feet. (Note: it can be triggered by bushes moving in the wind, and on a windy night the lights can be triggered all night long. This happened.) These lights only activate when it's dark, so you don't have to worry about wasting battery power during the day. The light is pretty bright, but not *extremely* bright. Total brightness is listed at 500 lumens, which is not very bright when spread out over two spotlights. For comparison, I have a bicycle light with a single LED that puts out 1000 lumens. I was expecting more brightness, but 500 lm seems to be enough light for the kids to play on the play set and for me to easily find my way around my trash cans and storage shed.These are spotlights, NOT flood lights. I would estimate the beam spread at 15-20 degrees, so very much a spotlight. This was great for me, as I wanted to keep the light from spilling into my neighbor’s yard.The unit installs very easily with three screws. You can easily adjust the aim of each light, but the range is limited. My installation required that I illuminate my trash cans from an angle, and the only way to accomplish that was to mount the unit on a triangular base (see video).My main complaint with this product is that the construction is very flimsy. The entire unit (2 lights, the body and the solar panel) is connected to the base by a single, thin stalk. When it's windy, the unit moves around and vibrates quite a bit, and I am sure that it will break free from the stalk eventually. (see video) When that happens, I will update this review.I am disappointed that a company like Bell and Howell, which built its reputation on quality photographic equipment, would produce such a cheap product. I have a Bell and Howell 8 mm film projector from about 1960 that still works perfectly. It would behoove Bell and Howell to make products of a quality that is commensurate with their excellent reputation.For now, I am delighted that these lights turn on every time we need them. We shall see how long they hold up!

This is the second time that I have purchased a similar product. The first purchase did not fare well, however I wanted to try again so I purchased the twin set. It also worked great for a limited time. It said it was weather proof, no it is not. After several weeks and it got cold, they stopped working. I have one more set because it was a special 2 box set. I will use this one when it warms up because I paid for it.

I needed to have an area of my backyard illuminated when walking out back, This light provides the light needed to safely navigate the area. So easy to set up,instructions were clear and concise. Bell and Howell does it again providing quality at a reasonable price.

Worked on and off for couple nights & then needed to be "tweaked" (on/off button pressed) to work. Believe product to be an insult to the Bell & Howell name. Lights seem fairly bright but projection distance minimal, really making the item not useful for our needs. If it's not going to work 100% of the time, what good is it? It gets entire day of direct California desert sun so I don't want to hear from seller that it wasn't sufficiently charged.

I love how easy it was to install these around my home. They're solar recharged, battery-powered meaning no wiring is needed. I used this 2 light for the back of the house and I put 3 single units in other places where we have doors and windows.They do light up sometimes due to a rabbit or a coyote. The one by the side door also accidentally detects as motion the light inside the garage coming on if the door's window is a little dirty.A little Windex fixed that. 😉The plastic spikes broke on 2 of them as I tried to get them into the ground. I fixed that by getting a few 12" long pieces of 5/8" or ¾" steel pipe (I forget) at ACE, pushing it into the ground and then sliding what was left of the spike on the light fixture into it.PROBLEM SOLVED. 👍The lights turn on when motion is sensed & they stay on until about a minute after no motion is sensed.Don't worry about the solar panel needing to be in direct sunlight since the lights come on so rarely & just for a short period of time, so hardly any voltage gets used.Perhaps just lay them in direct sun for 6 or so hours to fully charge them before putting them in their permanent positions, which can even be in a shaded area all day long.

Bionic Dual Solar Motion Sensor Lights:I love these Bionic Dual Solar Lights!We have four on our property, one out front facing our front door and three out back to assist our senior pug as she patrols her territory and conducts her "business".These Bionic Dual Solar Lights are easy to install, whether you opt to stake them into the ground or mount them to the fence, deck, clothesline pole, or wherever suits your needs.The two lamps can be positioned independently from one another.These Motion Sensor Lights work very well, even on cloudy overcast days when they don't get direct sunlight.Just a few things to mention about the overall design:When you opt to mount the solar light into the ground using the stake, there is nothing that prevents the lamp from being lifted off. Anyone could walk away with the lamp. So far it hasn't been an issue with the one we have out front.Another point to mention:Be mindful of where you intend to mount this solar light. If you live in an area where it snows, avoid mounting it in an area where heavy snow and ice are going to fall over the top of it, knocking it to the ground. (Speaking from experience) Learn from my mistake.Otherwise, I'm very pleased with this product and would recommend it.

Great addition to the yard. Works perfectly. The light shines a good distance and motion detector works well.

fIRST OFF i like it second i read a few reviews where people could not get it turned back on then i had the same problem with mine brought it outside and charged for a while still could not get it turned on . then i read a review where this man brought it in a dark room all lights off that will activate it needed very very dark after that wow love it very bright sensor works far once its activated install it dont touch the on button leave it on

J’ai commandé 3 lampes pour le chalet. Malheureusement j’ai attendu un peu trop avant de les installer et l’une d’entre elles ne fonctionne pas. Dû aux conditions de retour sur 30 jours, je ne peux plus la retourner. J’ai commandé le 4 avril, j’ai installé le 3 mai et le lendemain j’ai constaté que l’une d’entre elle est défectueuse. Trop tard pour un remboursement
