High quality at a great price!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I have a small leather project so I picked a small sheet of the leather to avoid the expense and storage of a side of leather. The quality of this leather appears very nice. The grain side is very smooth and the flesh side is nicely finished. The sheet is flexible and should work for my intentions of an unique instrument case handle. It comes rolled up inside a plastic film, so I would remove the packaging to allow the leather to breathe and lay it out flat until it relaxes to making working with easier.

The quality was great. I just needed it to help close the gap on my seat covers in the back seat. I bought some Velcro to hold it in place. My seats were still getting dirty with my grandkids in the back. So I would say it served its purpose. Very satisfied.

I got this to make sandals out of. The leather is soft, and (from what I gathered from other reviews) chrome-tanned (which is good in shoes -- the US Army switched to chrome-tanned leather in WWI to avoid trenchfoot, according to Wikipedia). Unfortunately, there were large... gashes, almost? on the surface of the leather sheet. Not a problem for my use-case, but be aware if you're planning to use this for something decorative (vs a cheap pair of carbatine sandals). As far as durability goes, the leather has stood up fine to me walking around town on it.

Very nice leather which cut well in my laser cutter. I made a raven hair pin with it as my first project. Hard to see in photos of all black items but the details cut out nicely. The leather is a great thickness for the hair pin too. Not too thick so you can manipulate it but not thin enough to be be flimsy. All I had to do to get it to lay flat in my laser cutter was work it the opposite way from how it was rolled and it laid perfectly flat, Will purchase again. Very pleased.
