Loosens in reverse. Broke under stress
The chuck works well in the forward (right-hand) direction, but the jaws loosen in reverse. This has to do with how the chuck jaws are engaged. The hex shank is threaded and, as it screws in, pushes a round plate that forces the jaws together. When turning in reverse (as in removing a wood screw), the hex shank unscrews rather than the wood screw. Works well if you are just drilling holes.Update: the cone pushed off the chuck while drilling with a 1-1/4" hole saw. See picture...

15 years as a carpenter dont waste your time with this piece of junk
You get what you pay for. This is cheap. Not worth the pennies. It's small size does not allow for adequately tightening the drill bit. I was unable to get a drill bit to drill anything with my dewalt 18v impact driver. 15 years as a carpenter dont waste your time with this piece of junk. Actually the company is quite clever to sell this item; it is so cheap that it is not worth the hassle to return it.

keyless drill chuck
A must for drills that have speed chucks. The unit is compact, which I like because I can get in tight spaces. Also , if you install the drill bit as directed by the instructions ( use power from the drill to tighten the chuck) the bits will not slip.

Great for use in 1/2" drill chucks to hold smallest drill bits.
Bought this chuck to use in my 1/2" drill that has a chuck that will not clamp onto the very smallest drill bits. Put this in the 1/2" chuck and smallest bits in it and was able to use those bits.

This is a poorly made item that does not fit the die grinder inpurchased it for so it is useless to me. I returned it in brand new condition but was only credited half of my purchase price with no explination. I would not reccomend or buy from this seller again.

Not good at all
This drill was not good at all. The runout was massive and it didn’t hold anything straight.The jaws were almost cockeyed in the chuck. Definitely not something worth buying until they fix it.

Drill bit gets stuck
Drill bit either won't stay in, or the Chuck tightens and is very different to remove the bit once the job is done.

Useful if you want one power tool instead of two (drill vs. impact)
I use this with my drill pump and it works great. I have yet to use it with drill bits but it would be up to the task.
