Helpful, but not entirely secure
Update (after 5 weeks' use) - The best way to tell if private info is being covered is to look with a magnifying glass. Sometimes things that appeared well-concealed become apparent when magnified. In those cases, a second swipe often helps.Certain kinds of writing, like large fonts or printed inks with some sheen, won't be covered well, no matter how many times one rolls over them.As in some other reviews, my roller ink grew faint, and it happened after only a few weeks. I refilled the ink, and then it covered well again. We'll see how long a refill lasts.Overall, I still find the ink roller better for recycling (they don't take shredded paper locally). And for some reason, it's more enjoyable than shredding!Original review - One swipe will obscure some confidential info. But make sure the paper absorbs the ink. It won't work well, as the seller notes, on glossy papers or with raised ink - or even on some matte card stock. On regular paper that absorbs the ink, one roller swipe might still allow some info to be seen when inspected carefully especially if rubbed with wet paper towel. But you'd have to think that someone is going to bother to look diligently, as it's still not easy to see fully. With 2 roller swipes on absorbent paper, even after rubbing with wet paper towel, the ink will smudge so much that it will likely obscure most confidential info. ("Made in China" is printed on the bottom of the box, FYI.)

Fun way to protect your identity
We receive and trash a lot of luck mail with our personal information. This is a fun way to hide your identity without the fuss of tearing of labels. A great product I’d buy again and probably get a bunch for stocking stuffers.

Good to have
The review asked to rate 1-5 stars how easy it is to read? Lol the point is to make it not easy to read. The ink in it marks what ever you roll over very well. Definitely faster than shredding.

Very good. It can dry out if not stored carefully, but otherwise it's excellent for the price.
This is the second time I've bought these for our Miseyo roller, the kind of roller that applies ink to envelopes, receipts, cheques, and anything else you'd like to keep confidential, without shredding it.These refills are easy to use, nice and dark, and are offered at a good price. The one thing I'd recommend is keeping the roller and the opened refill package in a plastic bag, so it doesn't dry out too soon.Other than that... well, it does what it's supposed to. That's all I expected, and it hasn't let me down.

Great for small business
I keep these in my purse, in my office, and next to my recliner. I take payments for my small business from anywhere. Keeps the credit card info safe.

Keeps my stamps going
These ink refills are easy to use and keep my privacy stamps going and going. Never realized how much junk mail we got until we stopped shredding and obscured our info with privacy stamps instead. These stamps work great when they have enough ink. This is the best deal I’ve found for them.

WORKING!
I have purchased 2 stamps; 1 for the office use and another for my home office. I used to shred the papers and I really hated. The dust! And it's not easy to take the jammed papers out of it. Now I don't have to deal with it.

Every small office needs this!
Keep it within reach! Doing the daily mail faster than the shredder to assure document security! My CPA loves the security aspect for business documents!

Can be messy, but works well
If you want something to completely obliterate your address from post or address labels, than this is for you.A quick roll (or two), and the address is covered completely. I used to shred all post, now I have no need. However, there are a couple of problems I have noticed which others have picked up on ....it can be messy! - try rolling over a chemist label on a box of pills ... it does work, but the ink does not dry which means dirty fingers, ink over sleeves and so on. This seems to happen on any shiny paper.I suppose I could leave the label to dry overnight, but that does make it kinda pointless. All in all though, it was a good purchase, and does exactly what it was intended for

Brilliant, the ink seems to be endless!
I’m quite surprised by this roller/stamp. The ink supply seems to be endless. I use it quite a bit (at least every other day). In the picture from top to bottom I have shown what one pass, two passes and three passes look like. You have to do at least two or three passes so nothing can be read. It’s really quick to do you just slide it across your paper and it prints confidential all over it. When it finally runs out I’ll be getting another, that’s for sure!

Could Be Better
I purchased this Identity Theft Stamp on Lightning Deals at a good price and while it works wellat blotting out address and private details on some documents, package labels and the like,I have found that some inks still show through. My main issue with it, is every time you roll it over a document, you are left with the wordCONFIDENTIAL inked at 1 cm by 4.5 cm, surely the very word confidential is in itself anencouragement for prying eyes and just draws attention? So while it will come in handy for some papers, I feel that it is better to shred our morepersonal unwanted papers.

Excellent product!!
As sad as it sounds - this has been life changing! We've had so many useless shredders and they always overheat and as a result we have always had a 'to be shredded' huge pile of paperwork - not anymore! I use this whenever post comes that I don't need to keep and it goes straight in the recycling - no more piles of paperwork! My friend has now ordered one too - highly recommend

Miseyo identity roller stamp
very pleased with this, but there is one reservation with it, if you roll over laser printed addresses at certain angles it is still visible as shiny black lettering. the thing about this is that it can be refilled which is an added bonus as others of this type you have to buy a prefilled new roller.when the old one runs out
