This is such an amazing book
I have given away at least ten copies and it has helped everyone to whom I have gifted it. It is a wonderful "self help" book full of wisdom

Great book. The author does a good job of describing a retreat with Anthony De Mello and gives his personal insight into the man himself. I like all of De Mello's books, this one (by a close friend of his) has a little bit more Catholicism interwoven with it, but I think that stems more from the author's backround and desire to show De Mello's writings are compatible with church doctrine. To me, Truth is Truth regardless of the label as Mr. De Mello always demonstrated.

Excellent Interpretation
Having read most of Anthony's work and referencing it frequently I was hesitant of reading an 'interpretation' of his message. There was no need for my hesitancy as it turned out. Carlos, in my opinion, adds greatly to the original message through his exploration of the various topics and the clarifications he suggests at points in the narrative. An exhilarating read.

helpful insights into de Mello
The author was very close to Tony de Mello and experienced a number of Sadhana experiences with him. Faithfully remembered and set down here we read much that is good and true for becoming more human and more alive, without baggage.

A must read.
Simple but profound. Loved it. The BEST explanation of the self and non-self!!!! It just makes you reflect and medidate on what or sho is that voice that you "feel" and "hear" inside.
