Outside Print Magazine

As an avid outdoor enthusiast, I've been a subscriber of Outside Magazine for years now, and I can confidently say it's my favorite magazine ever. With well-written and entertaining articles, this magazine never fails to impress me.One of the things I love most about Outside is how it allows me to live vicariously through the stories of other adventurers. Even when I can't travel, I can always turn to the pages of Outside to learn about new destinations, gear, and outdoor tips.That being said, I do understand some of the criticisms the magazine has received. While I don't mind the ads, I can see how they might be overwhelming for some. Additionally, some readers have expressed frustration with the magazine's focus on expensive gear and fashion clothing, as well as the promotion of personalities over the outdoors. Personally, I would love to see more articles about great hikes, places to camp or backpack, or getting outside to enjoy nature.Despite these minor flaws, I still find Outside to be a must-read for anyone who loves the outdoors. It's informative, inspiring, and just plain fun to read. Whether I'm living vicariously through the stories or archiving old issues, I always look forward to the next edition.

Love Outside but I don't understand why these publications feel the need to get political, or feel the need to tow the social justice warrior line. I found it hilarious that I got two different Outside magazine editions in the mail, one looked like a Cosmopolitan magazine, and the other looked like the SI Swimsuit edition. Is Outside having an identity crisis? Please stick the Great Outdoors and keep your gender issues to yourself.

Love the fact that the subscription also includes the kindle version, which looks great on the iPad. The only reason it gets four stars is because Outside has definitely shifted from some of its story/content focus and is shifting to a "gearhead" focus. However, the stories and features are still great!

This is my favorite magazine ever. I enjoy all things outdoors and the gear needed to enjoy it. I also enjoy reading others experiences, good the bad and the ugly.

I've been reading Outside for 10 years or so. It sure has changed a lot. I remember when the thought of seeing a car, liquor, or cologne ad in this mag would would been absurd. Not anymore. Outside is still a fun and informative magazine, if not a bit more mainstream and pedestrian than it used to be. There are many useful articles but a lot more fluff as well. Still, the armchair adventurer in me still enjoys it overall.

Great magazine with a subscription at a great price. I wish the magazine came shrink wrapped or in a protective cover since I archive all of these magazines 😊

Been reading this magazine for around 15 years, but it's really been going downhill lately.The most recent issue was easily the worst I can recall -- just a constant diatribe of PC SJW garbage.

I don't hunt nor do I fish, but I do enjoy the outdoors. This magazine provides the things that I enjoy doing and it also provides adventure journalism that is interesting and fun to read about.
