While this has not worked out the way I thought it would, I’m not sorry I bought them. Since they hang on the door handle, they have scratched up the door, but it’s not from my dog using them because I think he’s afraid of them. That said, they are well-made, and sound like Christmas!

I ordered two types of training bells for my dogs, pretty much the same type. The other brand which was the same price was not even assembled and required the bells and holder to be glued to the door or wall with a white plastic piece. Looked cheap too. This one looks great, fully assembled, attaches to any handles. Even the packaging was sooo much nicer.

These potty bells are fabulous, so glad I bought them. I didn’t think they would work and that it would be super hard to train my pup to use them. He doesn’t cry to let me know he has to go potty so these were perfect as I now know when my little man has to go potty! Definitely worth the buy.

My 4# Yorkie pup has actually learned to paw the bell strap and if I’m in the area I can hear it. She’s little and bells & strap are big so she doesn’t make a loud enough clatter for me who, due to age, doesn’t hear high pitches as well as I used to.I cannot tell you how exciting it is to see her ting/ring the bell. Everytime I wanted her to go potty outside, I would ring the bells, open tbe door and tell her ‘GO POTTY’! And now when she rings the bell, a lot of joy, celebration and congratulations abound. Very glad I got the bells!

Love this method for potty training puppies

I have had the Potty bells for 2 months now and my dog is not picking it up. I started with the training that was provided with the bells for the first 3 weeks and she would not use them at all. I then went to their website and followed the training tips on there. Now she will only use the bells if I am standing right next to the door and she still tries everything in her power not to touch them. When she does use them she will hit it with the lightest touch that it doesn't make a sound, I don't think she likes the sound of the bells. They are nice and I am sure they work well for other dogs. I think all the training tips should have been provided, I shouldn't have to go to the website for other options to use their product. I cannot rate over 3 stars since they don't work and the lack of training information for their product, if that make you mad take it up with my dog.

This is a nice product and well made. Thought we could teach our Doxie to use the bell as a puppy. Nope she will not use it. She is now over a year and does not use it but when we shake it to go out she comes running so we are still happy we got them. They are not loud and obnoxious but a medium sounding bell.
