I was told to drink this every evening according to directions in order to ingest more fiber. I have been using this since February of this year and it helps as my physician said it would.

Do not buy the flavored one.
The orange flavored Konsyl contains a lot of sugar and recommends twice the dose (1 tablespoon vs 1 teaspoon). Even with the increased dosage, it’s not as effective as the regular Konsyl.I saw that is was half the cost per ounce compared to the regular Konsyl and thought I scored a great deal. Big mistake!

taste is ok but doesn't provide as much fiber per serving as the unflavored version
you need to take two times the dose on the package to get the same amount of fiber as in a single does of the unflavored version. the flavor is marginal. do not recommend it. better off with using your own beverage and the unflavored version.

Would be 5 stars but.
The only thing I didn’t care for was the taste. It’s not bad and I’m comparing it to the taste of Metamucil orange. Dissolves well, effective and works as expected, a good value for the price.
