Very good bike support, and fits where others won't.
I couldn't get any other stands to fit on my bike, as it's a small wheeled (20") folder with a very small bolt hole where a normal kickstand would go, and nothing else would fit, and anything else I'd tried (different lengths, different locations for the stand) to get around it ended up not being supportive at all, and the bike would be at risk of falling over, especially when panniers etc. attached. Decided to try this one as it clamps around the stays instead, and very happy with it, also seems actually more stable and sturdy than ones placed more centrally, as this is right over the back axel and support the rear wheel directly. Even with heavy panniers the bike stays up.Needed to cut the support pole, but this was super easy with a hacksaw. Just remove the cap, shorten it, and pop back on. Instructions for fitting etc were also good.

Good and strong
Nothing to dislike except that my bike did not come from the factory with it already installed. I have no doubt this kickstand will outlast my bike!

Compatible with my longtail 26" cargo bike
I'm using the bobtail from Portal Bikes. I've recently upgraded its rear wheel to a freehub quick-release, and replaced the Vbrake to a disc brake. I can't use back the original nut-mounted kickstand, so this is a good replacement.

Excellent, stable stand
I put this kickstand on a Raleigh M-30 26" mountain bike I've had for about 10 years. Although I didn't realize when I ordered it, it must've been the same manufacturer as the original mid-bike stand that came with the bike. That stand finally fell apart after ten years of use, and I tried replacing it with other available stands (like the Schwinn Adjustable that lasted all of about two days before the screw rattled out and the extension fell off somewhere between home and work). Since every other stand I looked at seemed to be similarly sub-standard, either by design or material, I just did without one for about a year. What attracted me to this product was the fact that it attaches to the rear. I've got a Topeak rack and Wald collapsible baskets mounted to the rear of my bike. I commute to work every day, and I liked the idea of extra stability right where the most weight would be. Much to my surprise and joy, when the product arrived, I recognized it to be exactly the same kickstand I'd originally had, only with a retaining bracket for the rear mount. This stand is solid--unlike most of the cheap, bendable stands that come on most bikes. It would certainly break before it would bend, and I don't see that happening. I've noticed a few other reviewers have complained that it comes with no instructions--which is true; however, don't let that be a deciding factor for you--I mean, if you're shopping for bike parts, then you probably do your own repairs. If you're in any way mechanically competent to do that, then don't worry--it's pretty obvious how to mount the thing. I mean, there are four screws, two rubber bushings you snap on the bike frame in the obvious locations, and you screw it on. Then there's a larger retaining bolt that attaches the actual kickstand to the mount. All in all, it takes about five minutes to install--you need a Phillips screwdriver and an appropriately-sized Allen wrench. Excellent product--my bike's extremely stable with the stand engaged. I went to the grocery store the other day and loaded both baskets up--it didn't budge.
