I ordered this as a mothers day gift. It arrived right in time. And my mother loved it very much. She loved everything. The beautiful necklace and the preserved rose. She really loved it.

I took a chance on getting this, thinking it might be something that my wife would like, especially the jewelry piece that is included. She looked it over but quickly concluded that it was just not her tastes or style. The flower looked very nice, but she wasn't really thrilled with yet another item that would sit around and collect dust, so her suggestion was that this would be the kind of thing that would make a great gift for my mother. Mom's a bit older, and loves stuff like preserved flowers and she would put something like this one in a curio cabinet and leave it on display. Especially if it was something that was given to her by my father.The jewel piece (necklace) was also something that I think my mother would enjoy -- again especially if it was a gift from my father who actually rarely would get something like this (any jewelry actually) to give to mom. Not saying he wouldn't give it to her, more that he doesn't often think about getting something like this as a gift for her because at this point in their lives they don't tend to often buy many gifts for each other.The rose looks nice, and the convenient tray for holding the jewelry is nice. It might not be terribly practical if the recipient is going to wear the item frequently or if they wish to put the preserved flower in a curio cabinet (as an example), but it is nice to have there.For us, this would be something better to suggest as a mom gift instead of my middle-aged wife getting it, but that is more personal preference than anything else. As a present for mom, it is not too spendy, and as a gift for dad to give to mom (where you may be the one paying for the gift to supply to him) it isn't bad at all.

This is quite a novel idea. Inside the very nice presentation packaging, you will find a two layer box. The top acrylic box features a beautifully preserved, real rose head which looks absolutely wonderful. It almost looks like a fake rose it is that good but it is infact real. Due to the process this company has used for preserving the rose, it will last somewhere between 3-5 years which is amazing. The bottom half of the box contains a sliding compartment, inside of which you will find a heart shaped, blue Amythyst necklace on a silver chain. The Amythyst center is well done, not large and gawdy and looks extremely good. You can get different centers for the necklace representing the different stones for birth months.You also get a gift bag and included card, so everything you need right there in one gift. This is a great gift whether for birthdays, valentines, Christmas or just that occasional one off gift to show that you are thinking of your partner. My wife was surprised by this and loved it.Highly recommended

This is a beautiful Set that works great as a gift. The color and design are outstanding. The rose is hard to believe it isn't fresh and real. The only thing I wish it had, was a small amount of rose smell. This one doesn't have any smell. It is good it doesn't have a bad smell, but it would have been so much nicer if it had a slight real rose smell.The necklace is well designed. It has LOTS of detail and the stone color is simple beautiful! My wife loves the deep blue color. She shows this off a LOT. She loves wearing it.All in all this is a great gift and nicely made set. Starting with the rose, the preserved real rose is a perfectly shaped red rose which has been specially treated to last 3-5 years without care. It looks nice and comes in a black box with a clear plastic lid.The necklace is 925 sterling silver with a large 5A cubic zirconia heart.I got the red rose and blue necklace for a kind of fire and ice type contrast.I'm happy with both the rose and the pendant necklace.
