Keter Borneo Outdoor Storage Deck Box, 110 Gallon, Brown

This storage deck box is perfect for my patio. It was so easy to put together, which I was able to do myself in about 20 minutes. All the materials were there and clearly labeled. It has ample storage inside and the ability to attach a padlock if needed. When the lid is closed, it can hold 250 lbs on top for additional seating. I also like the soft close feature of the lid. It looks like it will keep the contents dry. I will update on this feature after it rains.

Love it. It’s really big, and fits lots of stuff, and looks nice in the yard. Not like the old plain gray rubber-made looking thing I had for years. The lid stays up, with no risk of it falling down on your head while you are digging around it. It is also water proof. I sprayed it with the hose to test it. I store my sons nerf guns in it, and he has a lot. When he outgrows those, it will be great to store patio furniture pads. And it is definitely sturdy enough to sit on, if you need extra seating. Love it! It was also very easy to assemble. We just had one tiny issue, where the closing mechanisms between the lid and the chest itself didn’t line up quite right. We kind of had to force it to close correctly, and then I left it in the sun for a day, which softened up the plastic material enough that it corrected itself and now works perfectly.

This product met all of my expectations. It was easy to put together, and I’m anan amateur at best in terms of putting things together. It took me about a hour. The color was on point. The instructions were on point. This is my second storage bench that I have purchased. It is durable. It’s sturdy.

Extremely nice box very sturdy and appears to be leak proof. The instructions were clear, but there were no verbal instructions included. That’s the only downfall.

Bought this to use for outdoor storage of our sons toys. Has lots of room inside and is very sturdy. I weigh 200+ lbs and when I sat on it for a few minutes it felt pretty sturdy. Only took me 10 minutes to put it together. If you look at the instructions closely and compare the parts it goes together fairly easily. Pro’s: 1. Very easy to assemble. Only needed a Phillips head screw driver to put it together. 2. Very sturdy plastic construction. 3. Weatherproof. It rained heavily immediately after I put it outside and there were zero leaks. 4. Pleanty of room for storage. Inside dimensions are 45” x 23.25” x 21.5” (LxWxH) 5. Looks great 6. Light weight for moving it around. 7. “Breathing” holes to prevent moisture from building up inside and forming mildew. 8. Price: I paid $85 and comparable sizes were $100+ so I feel this was a pretty good deal. Cons: 1. There are tiny air holes on the bottom around the edge and side panel (pictured). So if you’re looking for something as a way to keep 100% of all bugs out this won’t be ideal. The holes aren’t big enough for for bees, wasps, hornets, etc to get through but small bugs (ants, spiders) could get in. For me this wasn’t an issue so I’m not going to take any stars for that. 2. The latches for using a lock are metal but are screwed in with a single screw to the plastic so don’t expect this to keep someone from breaking into it. (Pictured) Will work good for keeping it shut during storms and kids from being able to open it but not much else. Again not why I bought this so not a concern for me.

After extensive research, I decide to go with this outdoor storage container for my patio furniture cushions. I was able to get all pads from a large outdoor couch (consisting of two seat cushions and two back rest type pillows) and four throw pillows. Like all products I purchase on amazon, I thoroughly read the reviews (especially the negative ones) to determine if the product was worth purchasing. It appeared that the most common issues were slight warping/damage, a few missing parts, and difficulty with assembly. As for warping, my parts arrived in perfect shape, but the box it came in was not sealed AT ALL and left the contents susceptible to damage or loss. Whoever prepares these products for shipping NEEDS TO SECURE THE BOX PROPERLY and I might mitigate a lot of issues with damage and missing parts. However, I was fortunate enough to have receive all parts undamaged. I should not feel like I have to take a chance and be "lucky" enough to receive everything that I paid for in an undamaged state. I am basically writing that statement on behalf of all of the folks that were "unlucky" and did not receive the intended great product that I received. As for the assembly, it was EXTREMEMLY EASY. There are no written words detailing the instructions... but you don't need any words when the very simple drawings work just fine. You basically have to have some kind of learning disability not to be able to easily assemble this container. All parts are essentially ambidextrous and there is really no wrong way to assemble it. I like the product so much that I just purchased another one to finish up the rest of my outdoor furniture pad storage.

First, this snap-together was very easy. I am a senior woman and had it together in 20 minutes and even managed the lid alone. I was impressed by how large it was and how nicely the lid went up and down. However, I ended up with a corner cap missing and had to contact the company directly. Ketter contacted me back, I sent the information they requested along with pictures heard nothing. I emailed again, heard nothing. I wouldn't do business with these people. If you are unlucky enough to get a defective product, you are stuck. We are going to have to fill in the hole with something and duct tape it. It won't seal with the missing people...so much for a nice storage chest for the deck. This is an update. While the company never did contact me back. Several weeks later I received a package in the mail, when I opened it I found several different end pieces for storage units. I found the one that was mine in the bag, not a color match, but a perfect fit. NOW I am happy with this purchase and the company made good. A friend told me I could have been a little more patient with them due to the COVID. I guess I could have.

Over the weekend I decided to finally unbury this storage bin that had not been opened since I put a set of patio furniture cushions in there 5 years ago (we haven’t had a large enough gathering to need them). This bin has been exposed to the elements, driving rain, ice, snow, heat waves, etc., and I was really afraid I would find moldy or bug infested cushions. I was stunned to find that the cushions looked like I had put them in there a week ago. No smell, no mold, no bugs. I’m impressed!

I am pleased with this sturdy deck box so far. It arrived flat packed which made it easy to move into the backyard. I found it a breeze to assemble by myself with the hardware provided and I had no issues with the pieces aligning. The box holds my patio seat cushions, all 8 of them when it rains. We had a summer storm already, with rain and hail, and the box remained watertight. It looks attractive on the deck and the lock on the box is a nice feature as well. I highly recommend this purchase.

El armado es sumamente sencillo y rápido, el baúl es resistente (lo suficiente para mantener a una persona adulta sentada sobre él - 80kg), es bastante amplio y su resistencia al agua está comprobada. I am so impressed with this deck storage unit. It is large - just what I wanted - and sturdy. It holds 3 good-size fold-up deck chairs, 4 misc lawn games, my winter storage of safety salt and there is room to spare. And it seems to be water-tight.

This unit was incredibly simple to assemble, even for one challenged with such tasks. It took about 15 minutes for full assembly. It looks great and is remarkably sturdy when I sat on it.
