Fantastic bulbs
The bulbs are a fantastic addition to our home. There are 4 in a pack so great value for price. There’s a a good variety of colours to choose from to set the mood for an occasion or everyday use. The app has a good feature where you can set the lights to change according to the music you play for parties etc.The only downside I would say is that the music feature isn’t as great as it could be as the phone needs to be put close to the speakers in order to pick up the music. It doesn’t really work too well otherwise hence the 4*. Would still recommend for daily life.

So convenient and easy
Only gripe is light colour. There is no real white. Closest I can get is a pale yellow

Good idea BUT......
Great idea and while I set them up with the Smart Life App and used them without any issues, they were just great..... or so I thought. They are a little flawed. They were purchased because those pesky kids of ours (yours too probably) leave home with all the lights on right? Well.... When the kids turn the light switches on and off repeatedly (because they are already on but require voice control) they reset!!!! Meaning when I think I've turned all the lights off from afar, I get home and they are still on. Great if you control everything in your own home but if you have any kids or teens that walk round with their phone in their hand on auto pilot, they will need re-pairing.I have collo taped all the light switches for the time being while they get used to the new normal. Would be a 5 star review if they remembered the initial pairing no matter how many times you turned the switch on and off as this unfortunately is how you also reset them (frequently it will be unintentionally here).I would rather see them with a pinhole reset micro switch.

BT Home Hub Customers
FOR THOSE UNABLE TO CONNECT, PLEASE READ:I hope the hours of pure frustration I have had trying to connect these bulbs were worth it if I can save others doing the same! If you have a BT Home Hub 2 router, you are not able to split the SSID (all other routers by BT have this option and makes light setup seamless for most). You can go into hub manager (located on your password and admin sticker) and turn off 5ghz in the wireless settings. After 4 hours of tweaking settings, I managed to connect but as soon as I turned 5ghz back on again, I lost it! I gave up and was about to return them! I called BT the next day as a last attempt and they turned off a setting called ‘smart setup’. This was blocking me. You can then connect the bulbs when 5ghz is off and then turn it back on again for all your other devices. It finally works! I suspect those who were struggling in the reviews might have the same router. It is now connected to Alexa and will turn on and off by command. You can also set up a command word E.g. Alexa I’m home (turns the light on) or Alexa good night (turns it off). Brilliant!

Excellent
Great bulbs have them all over the house, can be difficult to connect but once you get the process down it doesn’t take long. I recently changed my internet provider and all I did was delete the app. For the bulbs then reinstall the app then add the bulbs again. They are excellent for setting the mood in a room or turning them on while your out the house so you don’t return to a dark house

Many positives, for me though 1 negative.
So the colours that the device were at the time is…The first picture = Green.Second picture = Red.Third picture = Pink.Forth picture = purple. The fifth picture = Orange. The sixth and final picture = Blue. Some of the colours as you can see on the pics attached here… they’re some really good colours, brightness and density. However a lot of the other colours just don’t cut it. It’s not really a point that can be totally blamed on its brightness as the lights themselves and the actually brightness of the colours is actually bright enough, it’s just the colours themselves that aren’t actually distinct enough.Overall though, for me especially with me being physically disabled it makes it easier for me to turn the lights on when people leave without turning them off. These lights are not the easiest to pair with your alexa device or even its own app. However with a little bit of patience and persistence you’ll get there.
