Gopro Hero Extension Arm - TOOGOO(R) Aluminium Extension Arm Metal Pole Mount Helmet for Gopro Hero 2 3 3+ 4 SJ4000

The media could not be loaded.  I needed an extension arm to mount a rear facing camera to the underside of my bicycle's saddle. I first purchased a plastic one which ended up swaying from side to side and produced annoyingly jittery video. I returned that to Amazon and purchased this TOOGOO aluminum extension arm hoping it would have less flex than the plastic. I was pleased to find that it did dramatically reduce the flex and produced much better video. I include a video that I shot on the same road, with the same bike, varying only the extension arm. As you can see, the first half with the plastic arm sways horizontally while the second half with the aluminum arm doesn't. There is STILL movement: it is mounted to a BICYCLE after all.The only reason I can't give this FIVE stars is that it took 21 days from the time I ordered it, to the time it arrived via the post office from China. I guess the seller would have to do substantial volume to get into Amazon's "Fulfilled by Amazon" program and the demand for this item might not be large enough to justify that setup. The low price and quality of the product was worth the wait though.Edit: Sorry, the embedded .mov (and also .mp4) video doesn't seem to work with the MS Edge browser. It does work fine in the Firefox and Chrome web browsers though. Does anyone know why this is?

The TOGO extension arm is a very well crafted product! It is very rigid (far more than any plastic arm could be), and light. The Anodizing is of good quality. The upper attachment point is threaded, so you don't have to use a nut to tighten your mounting bracket. One small issue is that the lower attachment point slot is VERY tight if you are using it on a GoPro mount. I had to carefully spread the two arms with a tool while easing the extension arm onto the GoPro mount. But better tight than too loose!I needed this extension arm in order to mount my new Garmin VIRB 360 action camera onto a modular (flip face) motorcycle helmet. Because this camera records a full spherical view, the only place that it makes sense to helmet mount the camera is centered on top. Otherwise, the helmet would obscure a large portion of the view. Due to the nature of the helmet, I needed to have the camera mount attached towards the rear of the helmet and have an extension arm pointed forward to bring the camera forward. This extension arm is perfect for the task!

I use my GoPro while fishing from an inflatable boat. I like to use the Chesty mount, but was having trouble making it work with a life jacket. Now I put on the chest mount, life jacket over that, and use this extension to allow the camera to protrude out through the front of the life jacket.

It works with the Hero and session cams, but not with the Fusion. It's too have and the arm does not hold it's position. Half reason is the mount and haft the arm. Needs to be more solid build to carry the Fusion. Other than that nothing to complain. Good Product.

This is super strong. I really like the length. NOTE: Be careful not to tighten the thumbscrew without a mating connector attached or you will damage the thin connection point. This is not a flaw! The design requirements for GoPro type connectors make the junctions very thin. If you do bend one, be EXTREMELY careful or you will break the connector off.

Nice design, but bottom bracket threads takes an non standard bolt so you can’t just use your gopro thumb screw.

Does what is says it's supposed to do. My only wish is that it's two ends were 90 degrees from each other. Otherwise, the construction is pretty good and it's as-promised.

The side with 3 prongs doesn't fit. The middle pin is too thick and won't fit on any of my mounts or accessories. It is completely worthless to me.
