La lavadora volviรณ a funcionar
La parte superior se quita para poder adaptarlo a los diferentes modelos y fue sencillo colocar la pieza. La lavadora volviรณ a funcionar perfectamente y hasta el momento no hemos tenido problemas.

easy fit big $ savings
The unit was a direct replacement fit for my machine. Did have to find a youtube vid to disassemble the machine but the vid also showed re-assembly. Saved $$ compared to 45 min. drive to service center and labour costs.

Easy fix, good price
Saw a how to video for resolving the frozen scrubbing brush problem on our Hoover carpet cleaner. Found this replacement part on Amazon for less than thirty dollars (could even match up the model number from the photo). Ordered and received the part in about a week. Installed the replacement turbine assembly in about ten minutes and the cleaner works like new. Nice alternative to buying a new cleaner. UPDATE: Still working after three years though the brunches do still freeze up if the cleaner sits for a few months. I use an Allen wrench (3/8 in?) to apply light pressure to spin the to brushes. If they still won't spin, pop the brush assembly off (it snaps on and off, connected at each end) and insert the wrench into the opening for the plastic drive shaft. Try turning again with more pressure. This has worked for me .... so far. See photos. Update #2: After milking this $27 emplacement part along for another year and a half, the plastic gears are worn to the point of no return and the metal drive continues to freeze up with rust. I'd go this route again but the same part is now $72. A whole new machine (on sale an Amazon} is only $120.

Great replacement - fit perfectly - beats replacing the entire cleaner by a long shot.
After installing the old Hoover is working great again. I didn't realize just how much those little brushes do. The old mechanism was so baddly rusted that I couldn't even turn the gears by hand. I removed the white cover on the new unit and as one other purchaser mentioned, the little bit of grease in the unit wasn't even close to enough to being able to offer any protection against water damage. There was absolutely none on the two bearings. I added grease to the bearings and gears then put the unit back together (4 screws). Once installed, the brushes work like new, because they are spinning again. Hopefully with the added grease they will continue to work for some time to come.
