Sizing way off - Manufacturing sloppy - Very heavy, but very strong
Although these crutches are very solid and can easily carry a lot of weight, there are a few draw-backs.As most have mentioned, the crutches are extremely heavy compared to average aluminum crutches. I would not recommend these for someone with strength, balance, or manual dexterity issues. Dropping one of these crutches near anything fragile could spell disaster.The sizing is way off. I am 5'10, but when properly setup, the sizing labels on the crutches claim I am only 5'7. So, if you are around 5'10 do not buy the tall adult model.The manufacturing of these crutches is very sloppy. The crutch tubes are full of particles which I assume are from the hole drilling process. Turning the crutches upside down will release a shower of these particle all over your floor. How hard would it have been to empty these tubes before assembly?Finally, they can not have inspected these well before shipment as on of my crutches had had an adjustment tube so tight, I needed a pipe wrench to loosen it enough to adjust.
