Wow, this was a real roll of the dice. It costs a fraction of what a brand-name SDS bit costs. Brand-name makers don't even make bits this large in diameter for SDS Plus, you need to step up to Hilti spline or SDS Max over 1-1/4". They spelled rotary "roatry" in the item description, FFS. There is no way this could work, right? But I needed to make just two holes, and I had a nice quality bit to pilot them, so I figured I'd roll the dice.The fateful day came and I tore open the box. Oh, boy– it does not look promising. It looks like the carbide is hand-welded in to this thing. Did I do it again, but a product on Amazon that was too good to be true? Ah, I have been here before. My hopes were very low.BUT– it worked. Engagement in the SDS Plus chuck was solid. It punched two holes through 10" of rocky concrete. I piloted it with a 5/8" bit and took it slow. It emerged looking a little roughed up but honestly, not so bad as I expected.So yeah, this thing defied the "you get what you pay for" maxim for me. Five stars all the way. I wish you the same good fortune, dear fellow "roatry" hammer operator.

Drilled through cinder block and poured concrete with no issues. It took awhile but it's also a big bit. I only drilled 1 hole so I can't speak much to the durability. After removing the dust it didn't seem to be worn down that much so I think it would be good for several holes.
