At the time of this review this day cream is £11.99 which really isnt a bad price for an average sized cream with hyaluronic acid in.It feels nice on your skin and applies well. It absorbs into the skin well, doesnt feel greasy and tightens the skin soon after application. I do have very sensitive skin and found that this does cause a slight irritation, my skin felt tight after application but thats what hyaluronic acid does for your skin. I did notice that after a few applications my skin felt a little dry and because of this i stopped using it. It could be because i have sensitive skin but it wasnt for me.

I’ve used a few SkinChemists products and they’ve all been too quality, this day cream is no exception.The cream itself is thick, easy to apply, readily absorbed, and deceptively light on the skin. Skin feels noticeably tighter after application, not uncomfortably so, with a hydrated firmness.There is is very little scent, which is good as it means less chance of skin irritation and you’re unlikely to have an issue with it on use or afterwards. As you’d expect there is no residue, greasy or otherwise so it’s a pleasant experience from beginning to end.At its price point you’re getting a quality product at a decent cost, and one that does work.

The cream comes in a tube inside a box and the you need to unscrew the dispenser section and pull off a foil hygenic seal (which I like to have to face creams). The cream is white, has good fluidity and so spreads well and is easily absorbed. I'm in my 50's and have slightly sensitive skin and I find that this cream does irritate my skin a little but doesn't cause any redeness. It does have a tightening effect and makes my skin feel a bit dry. I've experienced this with a Gatineau Serum that also contained hylauronic acid. It feels counter intuitive that a "mosituriser" would leave skin feeling tight and dry but this is the effect of the hylauronic acid firming up the skin so that it looks a bit younger temporarily. I guess it is personal preference if you like the feeling of this effect. I dislike that the cream has a fragrance as I tend to avoid that if possible for face creams but the scent doesn't last long.

I have been using the SkinChemists Hyaluronic Acid Day Cream for a few weeks now and I am not really a huge fan - I found the cream to be lightweight and easily absorbed into the skin, I have sensitive skin and it hasn't caused me to breakout or caused any irritation.What I don't like about the product is that I feel it doesn't hydrate/moisturise very well unlike some of the other products within the SkinChemists range, I actually feel this left my skin feeling a little dry and my skin felt tight after using it. I'm finding that I end up using another moisturiser on top of this to make my skin feel a little softer.The product isn't for me; and I appreciate not all products are suited to every skin type - therefore, based on my experience with this product I wouldn't recommend it to family or friends.

Hyaluronic acid is a natural component of the skin. The fact that a hyaluronic acid molecule can hold up to 1000 times its weight in water means that this has become quite a common ingredient in various types of skincare - including this 50ml tube of Youth Series Hyaluronic Acid Day Cream from SkinChemists.UK made, this is a lightweight day moisturiser which I found absorbed easily after using my regular facial serum. It felt hydrating on my more mature skin. Over time I'm hoping this cream may help to reduce fine lines as it intensively hydrates and plumps the skin.Easy to use, I wasn't a huge fan of the fragrance - but this soon dissipates so no big deal. The texture of the cream is good, not too much is needed and the tube means this product lends itself to travel, more so than a pot of moisturiser. My go to moisturiser from a high street chemist is slightly more expensive at £24.95 at time of writing and hyaluronic acid is also a key ingredient of that but it includes Matrixyl 3000`- so I probably wouldn't reorder this SkinChemists' day cream.

I was impressed by results. Left my skin very smooth and cream easy absorbed. You small amount as it spreads easily. Very good value for money

This is a light well absorbed cream with Hyaluronic acid and 1%lipids. Manufactured in UK and appears and feels to be good quality. My skin felt well moisturised without any greasy residue and I found my make up went on well over it.For me the only drawback was the scent, couldn’t quite put my finger on it , I thought it was minty, when asked my husband thought herby! Not unpleasant and it soon disappeared but an odd odour for a face cream, I suppose better than been over perfumed.Need to use it longer to see any results but on initial use I liked it better than the expensive make I was using.
