SB7T Spirit Box Paranormal Research Device with Ghost Augustine Flashlight

Thank you, so much. You really didn’t have to but we appreciate it a lot. So far we haven't gotten any answers on the Spirt Box, but we're willing and patient so. We love this design with the built in Flashlight and the Red backlight, it's very useful, as for the Flashlight 🔦. I love it a lot, I'm a gear head and tool nut so it being a hide-away Flashlight/Screw driver heck yeah. So again thank you so much. We give this combo, including the separate speaker 💯, we love it. The price may wind up scaring you before any ghosts can, but I will say that there's two things to note about this product...The first thing being that it's not as big as they make it out to be in games like Phasmaphobia. Good for portability.The second thing is that you can actually just use it as a radio. It only sifts through all the radio channels if you hold one of the two buttons that's used to sifting through the radio channels/stations. Hold, and it starts sitting through on its own. No need to continuously hold down the button.Lastly, this comes with a little plug in speaker, so it does make it nicer in deals. Haven't been able to use it to find paranormal activity, but I have picked up radio stations with it. Not sure if the antenna comes off without breaking it, and I don't want to break it.

If you get this, you need to modify it (plenty of videos on youtube, takes 5mins and a small screwdriver) pop it open to remove the antenna and receiver, otherwise you will get so much interference and only hear radio stations. By modifying it you really can get unexplained words/ phenomenon that you would otherwise miss. Such as going into a church and it saying "Amen" or going to a civil war monument and hearing "General" - these have made me a believer in this device, as there's no station interference like that to even pick up anymore. I do think it's expensive for something that pretty much shuffles through frequencies and that you have to do some work on it to use it as advertised. The speaker it came with works really well, picks up in recordings well to playback for others to hear. Ended up getting a lot of good evidence with this. Not sure why it has a "night vision" rating- the flashlight is just a normal flashlight, there is no sort of night vision with any of this.

Go to YouTube, search for "How To Use SB7 Spirit Box" and watch a couple short tutorial videos. They made all the difference, for a total amateur like myself. My wife died recently, and I was desperate to make contact, to make sure she is alright. Actually listening to the Box, you don't hear much, because of the white noise and channel-changing sound (quite loud), and the channels switch very fast (as per tutorial). After doing a bit of research, I reluctantly tried using my digital recorder to record the "noise." When I played it back on Media Player, untreated, I made out a WHOLE LOT I DID NOT HEAR, when I initially recorded it. There were very clear words and short sentences, consistent voices, and even what very apparently seemed to be my wife speaking. Then my brother-in-law, a techy sort, used sound software to enhance reverb/echo and clear out some of the white noise, and WOW! We both heard her very clearly. I was very comforted.

As for the Spirit Box itself, it works fine, I read a lot of reviews over the loudness of the speaker and honestly I have no issues with the speaker. It sounds fine to me... However, if you are in loud traffic or noisy backgrounds yes, you may want something better but i would test this before buying anything, mine has more than adequate sound....The speaker that came with this works great, but... there is no volume control on it, therefore it is un-usable to me, it is way way way too loud. I figured the actual volume controls on the box itself would change the volume on the included speaker but it does not, extremely weird... The included speaker is VERY VERY loud, just wait and see.. Way too loud for anything I need. I think it ridiculous that a speaker would have NO WAY to raise or Lower the volume... Bad Bad design and i could never use that on an investigation...Also, the small flashlight that came with the unit is defective. I checked the batteries, making sure they were orientated properly, removed the paper guard and it does not work, therefore garbage.... Thankfully I don't need the flashlight but I would still expect a level of quality control before leaving their facility...All in all if you are a paranormal investigator and believe In spirit boxes you will most likely pick this up... But $89.00 for this piece of equipment no bigger than my hand and the other pieces defective?! NO WAY is it worth it, but what can you do, for I needed it! If you think about the actual electronics and function of these boxes, I doubt they are worth $20.00 to make... :)

I liked the spirit box for the ITC research I had planned to do not only in my home but at different haunted places. What I dislike is that the battery case is non functional and therefore it’s a dead box that can’t be used anywhere at all unless it’s plugged into the wall which again makes it less useful than ever now that it’s no longer portable .. total inconvience and I pretty much am done with this brand after two tries .. third time is not happening because I have a charm hanging off my lamp in my room with no power. Maybe the seller will reach out to me and make it right because I’m not giving up anymore of my time to fix what I didn’t break and does not work at all as seller said it would.
