Nice flavor, not same as others.
I like this sausage, there is a vinegar tang. Most summer sausage have a typical taste which to me is bland, this one has a nice tangy flavor and makes it different.

Taste very gamey.
Update:The sausage has kind of grown on me, and I would recommend it now.This summer sausage tastes very gamey to me. I ordered it because it was beef, but it doesn't taste like any beef summer sausage I've had. That's not to say it's not made from beef, I just don't enjoy the flavor like Old Wisconsin or Johnsonville which cost half the price for the same amount.
