Initially my Grandmother was intrigued by it but she didn’t know what it was so she didn’t like it at all. It didn’t help with fidgeting and I felt it was too simple for her. I was considering donating it.Now, I see her playing with it often, or just holding it in her lap. I think it had to grow on her.

I got this for my 95 year old grandmother who has dementia ...there are so many variations of this horrible disease so I'm not certain if this is something she will use in her state but, my, I was so pleasantly surprised by the lovely way this was packaged and how well made it was! I may have to use it, if my grandmother doesn't! LOL simply lovely and I thank you!

Perfect size my mother’s lap and well made. The blanket often holds her interest. You can put whatever you want in the zippered pocket. You also can put your own cards in the see through pockets. You also can attach whatever you want using the velcro strip. My mother also seems to like to fold the blanket and rub its textured backing. I plan to see what else this seller has made!

Her attention span is very short but she does seem to notice the different fabrics & the straps, overall I think it is good espically for a bed fast person who fidgets

The blanket was well received in a very cute package. I bought it for my grandmother who has been suffering from dementia. Today when i gave it to her, I really notice she enjoyed playing with all the different materials and it calms her down. The manual also gave a lot of good tips on how to talk and retrieve memories with a person that has dementia

I bought this for my Mother who has Dementia and was looking for something to keep her mind occupied! She enjoys doing the activities on it and she likes it because it’s so soft!

I had bought two in fact, one for mom and the other for my aunt. Both have dementia. The boxes were very nice very attractive. But once you open and get the blanket out, i saw that it was way too simple for both of them. It would not attract attention unfortunately. Also one of the boxes did not have the manual booklet

Da ich ehrenamtlich im Heim mit Menschen, die an der Demenz erkrankt sind, arbeite, ist die Nesteldecke für mich ein sehr gutes „Werkzeug“ für Beschäftigung der Erkrankten aber auch liefert eine schöne Grundlage für Gespräche, die für diese Menschen wichtig sind.

It is packaged amazingly well, and not in any way patronising to the user. A great item.
