I got the leather covered version. They’re durable, haven’t deformed easily, and pop off the bat. Much better than the buckets of BP balls teammates bring to practice that all feel and sound terrible (and are all deformed).

Best all round ball for sliwpitch softball. All our league ever uses.

This is the perfect balls for ASA bats that need breaking in and getting batting practice. It hasn't become dull nor have they wrapped after 150 hits each ball. Also valuable for fielding if you are trying to get right hops and throw ins.

We are a senior league that plays twice per week. These balls last longer. We have played 8 games (56 innings) with 2 of these balls and they feel and look like new. We were lucky if we could get 3 games from the"composite" ones before the surface got damaged. I wouldn't be surprised if these same two last beyond 20 games.

Really good softballs. Very light with great leather feel. They fly nice and carry far. I recommend these balls for catch and batting practice

ASA some years back switched to the 52 .cor 300lb compression. Dudley makes the most durable and quality ball. The leather cover provides a better grip and feel and protects against ball wear and tear during a game or practice. I play in a league that requires managers to provide game balls and other managers tend to go cheap and buy non Dudley with composite covers and the performance is simply not the same. These balls have never disappointed. Seller quick to send.

Love this ball coming off the bat. Only issue is the leather tears if it even grazes water. My balls lasted until one early morning bp where the balls bounced into dewy grass. If it sits moist for a bit the outer leather deteriorates and peels.

Balls hit ok due to the softer core, the covers don't take long to show wear and tear, lots of little nicks after one game, leather covers not very sturdy
