These little lava pots look great but I wish they were slightly larger. The interiors are quite small. Love the stands these came with.

I bought these to serve as a semi hydroponic wicking vessel for a few of my plants that would prefer to be growing in the small fractures of a rock wall. These can be placed in a dish of water and the lava rock will wick the moisture up into the roots for the plant to utilize at its own pace. Roots often want airflow and the medium of lava rock can allow the roots to not be suffocated by denser potting soils.These will work very well for semi-hydro for those like me who specialize in growing smaller moisture loving plants, or for those who want to let their cacti dry appropriately between waterings.The stands they come with appear to be unfinished pine, which means they will accept a wood stain or paint beautifully if you want them to match your decor.Be careful when unboxing them though! Through shipping, they produced a little bit of sharp rock material in the box. I did end up having a little piece of lava rock stab right into my finger. Ouch! However, these little cute pots are totally worth it. I'll likely buy more :)

I bought these and liked them so much I bought another set. The natural stone look is a perfect accent to succulents. I also found them nice for artificial flowers. The little wooden stands really dress it up and make it look expensive, the claim is that they drain naturally because they’re porous.. Haven’t had them long enough to know if that’s true. I hope so because no drainage holes

These are better than I'd hoped. The size of the plant hole is bigger than I'd thought, the pots are lightweight, perfectly shaped with no crumbles. Perfect for gifting with a succulent tucked in.

These work well for my pinguicula. They are very porous and light. They have a slightly flattened bottom and about a 2 inch sized planting area. As they are natural stone there is some variation in size and color. I feel these would also work well for small cactus and succulents. They definitely should not sit on a surface that could be damaged by water or rock.
