I've had this light for a few weeks now and I am very happy with it. I was a but concerned at first with the method for controlling it, since it's all done with taps on the bottom (metal) portion of the light. It has three brightness settings and each tap makes it dim, then medium, then bright. The fourth tap turns it off. To make it start cycling through colors you hold your finger on it for a couple seconds. Then, you can tap once to make it stop cycling at whatever color you like, and hold it for a couple seconds again to turn it off.This all sounded like it might be a somewhat annoying interface, however, because its reaction to taps is so fast and responsive, even to tiny taps, you can actually set it very quickly to the brightness you want. I actually think it's more convenient than a button once you've used it a couple times.It's true that to get a particular color you need to wait a little bit as it cycles, but I haven't found that a problem, and I actually enjoy letting it just cycle through all the colors anyway.The light does have a blue LED on the bottom which is on whenever the light is plugged in. Even if the light is off the LED is still on. I know this might bother some people, but it does make the lamp easier to find in the dark.I'll also say that the lamp looks very modern, simplistic, and high quality. It doesn't seem cheap to me at all, despite the fact that it was quite inexpensive.

Bought this bedside night light to use in our bedroom for tending to the newborn. It arrived quickly. The base works fine, has many functions and colors of light. It is easy to use. Albrillo followed up with an email to ensure satisfaction. The only thing that is not perfect (and believe me, the designers have tried hard to make it as perfect as possible) is that the lowest white light setting is still bright when close to the wall. We wrapped/taped two pieces of printer paper around the lamp to dim it down and that seems to work well. Overall we are happy with the company and the product.

It's a nice lamp its bright and the colors are beautiful,but it's not perfect, my main complaints are;1. I Accidentally activate it all the time, I wish it had a specific area you had to touch to turn it on, maybe the led light in the front. Touching anywhere on the silver part turns it, I had it on a bedside table at first but kept accidentally nudging it while trying to place my glasses/phone on the table.2. It's never actually completely off, even when you turn it off it gives off a bluish hue at the bottom ( I attached a photo).3. Operation is kind of meh, you have to tap it once to turn it on, tap again to make it brighter, tap a third time for max brightness, and then a forth tap to turn it off. And if you want to RGB mode, you had to long hold, and then the colors will cycle, but if you want it to stay on a specific color, you have to wait while the colors rotate until your desired color shows up, then long hold to get it to stay that color. It would have been nice if it came with a remote like most RGB products, to turn the lights on/off and change the colors in a more convenient way.4. Last gripe is the wall adapter, it would have been nice if it used Micro-USB since that's a lot more common and easy to find in case this one stops working and I need a replacement. I've included a photo of the required plug.All in all it's a nice lamp, just could be a little more refined, but it serves its purpose which is providing bright light. 3/5

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Well made, works well, and I like the brightness options. I just really don't like the blue light that is clearly visible when it's turned off. I imagine it's intended for you to find it in the dark but studies have shown that blue light is bad for sleep patterns. I wouldn't have minded a faint white light or maybe even yellow, but the blue sucks.

I just love these lamps! I bought two for my bedroom. One for my side and one for the hubby. The are very nice to use in bed. No more fumbling for the switch, just tap the base and boom, there is light. Tap twice more for brighter and brighter light. Hold down your touch and lamp goes into rolling display of several colors. Fading from one to another. It is very peaceful and relaxing.When the lamp is off it has a super soft warm blue glow at the bottom. Not obtrusive at all. Just elegant!Overall I love these lamps and am very pleased with my purchase! 😃😃

I honestly loved this lamp, it has worked great for us for. Randomly today it shorted out and makes a humming sound when plugged in and wont turn back on. It's been in the same spot for just short of a year and worked fine until today. 2 star review since it didn't even make it a year.Update- customer service contacted me and was very helpful with this issue.

I’m happy with this lamp. It’s easy to operate by touch and doesn’t take up nearly as much room on my nightstand as the lamp that I had. Would haven given it 5 stars if the white light (color I would use most) is not soft at all, rather blinding. I purchased another for my bedroom and am using this in my living room since it has all the mood lighting colors 😀. Works great!

I like this lamp. I saw it on a "Things on amazon you didn't know that you needed." I love the colors that it has and it is very easy to use. It has 3 different dim settings which I also liked. The normal white/yellow color they have it very calming. I do have two complaints, my first one being... the colors are not the brightest... I didn't expect the color to be able to light up the whole room but it does seem very dim and probably best used for a children's night light. My second complaint is the cord that connects to the lamp to the wall outlet... is on the side. You see the Albrillo emblem on the front.... the cord isn't hidden in the back its on the right side so its sticks out sort of like a sore thumb so I just turn it so the cords in the back and its fine.
