Acupressure has been used for centuries to release endorphins that block pain, while helping to relax the muscles in your back, neck, shoulders and feet. The strategically placed acupressure therapy spikes target specific areas of the body and work to stimulate nerves and improve blood circulation, giving much-needed stress/anxiety relief, mind relaxation, and helping you sleep better.Based on the ‘Indian bed of nails’ technique which has been used as a relaxation aid and tension relief method for thousands of years, the sharp spikes apply pressure to the skin and muscles to stimulate blood flow which in turn supports restful sleep, relaxation, mental clarity and improves overall well-being.Simply lie down on the mat (either on your back or stomach) for 10-15 minutes a day to treat your sore, tight muscles, or stand on it to treat your tired, achy feet. Great set, exactly what I was after
Really great mat in a lovely colour. Have bought a mat previously from another seller but this one is superior, cheaper and came with a handy storage bag. The headband is a great addition and helped with a recent migraine.
