Great for power outages
Very nice lights that we've been looking for. No more searching around in the dark looking for a flashlight. As soon as the unit looses power the flashlight comes on. Also has a nightlight when it gets dark. Just what we wanted!

Small, compact, and handy lights
Plug in the charger (which is in the shape of a ring) and set the light into it. The orange tail turns on when the area gets dark enough and off when it gets lighter again. Lift this unit out of the charger and the flashlight end turns on. These are very handy.The charger does not cover the other outlet but the light could. If this is plugged into the lower outlet, the light would block the upper outlet.The plug can rotate to allow for different directions. It will only turn a quarter of the way though. The prongs are not polarized so it should fit into any normal U.S. outlet.

Super small but kind of perfect
I really like these, They are smaller than I thought would work but come to find out I like them more than I thought I would. Nice little night light too.

These have a nice, low-glare yellow night light while resting in the charge ring.has a bright flashlight on lifting or if power goes out.I don't now how long the batteries will last per charge as I have not had to use them since the initial charging.

PERFECT FOR THE PURPOSE
Works as a night-light, but can be turned off. The light is white, not amber like others I have, and while not as bright, is adequate for that job. Also works as a power failure light. The flashlight is separate and adequate for the job (It's NOT a "Tactical Light"!! There's nothing more I want from it. RECOMMENDED for these purposes.

NOT for UK !
These do not work in the UK. It was not totally clear that these are for use only in the states. We purchased adaptors after they arrived but they got very hot so we weren’t happy using themHowever, having contacted the company via Amazon they issued a full refund hence the stars
