Not as claimed
I have owned two other ION Block Rockers, one original 50 watt and one 100 watt. This purchase was to replace the 100 watt machine that would no longer connect to Bluetooth (around two years old).The 100 watt machine was definitely louder than the 50 watt one, especially when using outdoors.The ION Explorer XL is advertised as being a 5 speaker 220 watt speaker. I wasn’t expecting it to be twice as loud but at least AS loud as the 100 watt Block Rocker. What a disappointment! Even plugged in at full volume this thing is barely as loud as the original 50 watt Block Rocker!!In my opinion, this speaker is completely unusable as a tailgate speaker.

I like the look, I had the outback explorer for over 10 years, and this look like it will last, it's been 4 days and the battery still strong

Ion Bluetooth speaker
It's solid, works great definitely sounds good, has a few useless features such as a crowd clapping button and a few outhers.but overall it dose what I want
