100 Secrets of the Art World: Everything you always wanted to know about the arts but were afraid to ask

More style than substance. Tons of cliché statements. The texts in the book have a feeling of self-indulgence. The book is more valuable for it's creative use of typography than the content within. Not truly informational. It does not even come anywhere close to delivering the promise made in the title...

Excellent for dipping in to and pause for thought rather than concrete advice for artists.

I bought this book as a bundle with Dr. Resch's new edition of 'Management of Art Galleries' (which is pink..!). I still can't decide which I enjoyed more.'100 Secrets' is well designed, informative, and a wonderfully entertaining read. Even my partner, who never took to exploring the art world during my 7 years running a gallery, spent time flipping through this handy little book. It's one that we, and our guests have enjoyed revisiting. I particularly enjoy the book's variety of featured celebrity names as well as those lesser-known to a non-expert audience. Bravo!
