Being a collector of the Garbage Pail Kids cards back in the 1980's I was SO excited to have stumbled upon this cookbook. I literally just received it today and have thumbed through it and it looks so fun. I'm excited to try some of the recipes, specifically Dead Ted's Maggot Chili! I think this is a great gift idea for your 80's lovers. Thanks for the nostalgia! :D

This was my dedication to our family cookbook collection. I’m a huge GPK fan from way back when and my two boys both love and hate how gross some of the recipes sound. I will note there are a couple that we will not be trying because they just sound gross gross.

I bought it because I like to cook and loved garbage pail kids when I was younger. It's worth the money for the nostalgia but the actual recipes were nothing to write home about. Some sounded ok for kids but most didn't sound appealing for kids or adults either. It is what it is but for $20 I would buy it again to give away as gifts. Thanks for the memories.

I gifted this to my foodie brother for his birthday. It’s the perfect gift for someone who loves to cook/eat and grew up in the 80s like we did. It contains legitimate recipes and is the perfect balance of nostalgia and fun!

I love this new idea for a kids cook book. The pictures are clear and colorful. The instructions are fun and easy to follow. I am looking forward to cooking with my great grandchildren. I bought two books : (1) to keep at my house to use when they visit and (2) to send for them to have at their home.Sent The Garbage Pail Cook Book to my grand children. With so much bad weather ahead of us, this book offers many projects for children/adults to have fun with.

Fun to flip through and the food appears to be edible. Bought this as a gift and think it is pretty cute.

Bought for my 4 year old daughter. Loves it! Recipes are actually really good but sound gross. 10/10 ....

Habe meiner Schwester das Buch zu Weihnachten geschenkt.GPK war hierzulande zwar eher unbekannt, aber da wir ein paar Karten hatten, doch irgendwie als Nostalgiegeschenk relevant.Die Rezepte sind relativ 08/15 und könnten so auch aus den meisten Halloween Kochbüchern stammen.Gut ist für ein US Buch, dass die Mengenangaben auch metrisch sind.Für den Preis und mit den Illustrationen, inkl Vorwort von R.L.Stine, gebe ich gerne eine Kaufempfehlung.
