The knife is Well balanced and feels really good in my hand. It is extremely sharp and easily sliced through a piece of paper. This is an awesome Damascus chefs knife made of fine steel. The blade and the epoxy wood handle is beautifully crafted. I am very happy with this purchase. Highly recommended.

I wanted a better knife than what I had but did not want to spend a lot of money. This was a great compromise in terms of price, but is easily the best knife I have purchased. It is razor sharp and has cut through various raw meats as if they were butter. I love the craftsmanship and overall appearance of the knife. I will probably buy another.

An excellent, sharp knife. This knife has been a dream to chop veggies with. Very sharp and easy to clean. The handle, while aesthetically nice to look at, doesn’t have the most ergonomic shape to hold onto. Still it’s well balanced.

Be careful with this darling, he's so sharp. I bought it because it was beautiful, but it has taken over as my go to knife. The pictures don't do it justice. It feels good in your hand, and I have never sliced tomatoes so thin. My very picky son was impressed, he said it had a really good bevel on the edge. This would be a great gift to anyone who cooks. I can't recommend this knife enough.

Dislike: Insinuating knife is Japanese made with VG-10 core steel, but had a "Made in China" sticker on the box. Layered steel pattern is very pretty, but I can't tell if it's true or simply etched. Handle is beautiful, and the balance is excellent. Steel quality appears great, no blemishes or manufacturing errors. Beautiful and affordable blade. Came very sharp out of the box. Time will tell how the edge holds up, but so far so good.
