Both hairbands work alright, the seem to be quite large and so they don't hold your hair down that much, the nobs at the ends of the bands started to give me a headache after a few minutes of wearing , and one of the nobs on the thin band fell of soon after it being received.

Find the metal band too hard, little heavy and uncomfortable on the head.
