Something Wilder: a swoonworthy, feel-good romantic comedy from the bestselling author of The Unhoneymooners

Romance, action, adventure!
After reading The Unhoneymooners earlier this year, I expected a similar story with this one - I couldn't have been more wrong! This is so much more than a love story, it's an action/adventure too!Lily Wilder is a feisty, independent, capable, no-nonsence woman running treasure hunts in the desert to make ends meet, Aided by her late father Duke's journal full of maps and riddles that he created over the years while hunting for Butch Cassidy's treasure.Leo is a quiet, gentle city bloke who takes his annual trip with his friends, unknown to him, the trip is to be led by Lily, his one and only love that he had to leave 10 years earlier.Leo and Lily were the perfect romantic duo and I rooted for them to reunite from the start! Their love for each other was so obvious, but I loved the anticipation throughout.Superb book, I now definitely consider myself a Christina Lauren fan!

One wild, wild adventure of a book.
4/5 stars. I'm always impressed with Christina Lauren books, and this one didn't fail to maintain that reputation. This book was happy, sad, heartbreaking, unnerving and exciting, all wrapped into one. I felt like I was on the edge of my seat during some parts, and felt like I wanted to fight for the characters' sakes. A very good read that I'd highly reccomend, with some loveable characters too - can we just take a moment to appreciate Leo...

Brilliant book
What a refreshing change to have a love story with a adventure mixed in. I loved it twist and turns along the way, couldn’t put it down. Can’t wait to read more of their books.

Just in love
This is such a good, fun, non stop adventure of a romance and I loved every page. I'm really bad for skipping to the end for spoilers when my attention starts to wander but this is one of few books where that didn't happen, I just blazed straight through, almost in one sitting. What I think is done very well is the honesty and emotional bravery of the characters - there is true understanding between them. I also loved the father/daughter relationship and I like to think that clue was a fatherly seal of approval.

My favourite book of the year
These two talented authors have my readership in a chokehold and I hope they never let go.This is one of the most wonderfully immersive reads I've had in a long time. Read this book and read it NOW. IM ABOUT TO READ IT AGAIN!!!

Preposterous
Preposterous, story full of holes. Utterly unbelievable, I know it was fiction but come on.... A shame as I have enjoyed books from this author in the past.

Couldn’t finish…
Quite literally the silliest plot ever. So ludicrous I gave up. I have really enjoyed the Christina Lauren pooka in the past but this one is dreadful!
